Enjoy this 1,200 sq. ft. 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath., house on Houghton Lake. House features skylights, ceiling fans, Bose speakers and televisions throughout. Great place for entertaining. Resort has over 100 feet of shared lake frontage on Michigan's largest inland lake. Swimming area is nice and sandy. Spacious areas for superb boating in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. There are plenty of attractions in and around town, including amusement parks for kids, golf courses, antique and gift shops, fine dining and night clubs. Houghton Lake is also known for its fishing (walleye, bass, crappie, northern pike and perch). There are at least a couple of fishing tournaments that take place each year. There is plenty of wildlife in the area, (birds, ducks, deer, river otters) there's a chance you may even spot an eagle or two. If you are into trails, there are miles and miles of trails that are accessible for bike riding, hiking, ORVs and snowmobiling. The Houghton Lake area is easy to get to. It is located between two major highways, I-75 and US 127. From the Detroit area it is about 2 1/2 hours, Lansing - 2 hours, Mackinaw - under 2 hours.
