The hotel was clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. The staff was helpful and very polite. Forget about trying to get any breakfast because the breakfast room is way too small and so crowded that you can't move.

Positives: It was quaint and designed like an old country inn.

Negatives: The breakfast area is way too small and consequently many people including mt wife and I went out to a restaurant for breakfast.

The hotel was pleasant and clean. We only needed to stay one night and arrived after dinner. The only issue we had were disappointed with breakfast. There was toast, bagels, and English muffins. Also, some toaster style french toast and pancakes. It was adequate but not that appealing. They had some apples but no other fruit.

Positives: The rooms were clean and pleasant, staff was friendly.

Negatives: We did not really enjoy the breakfast buffet - not much fruit.

This is your standard Country Inn and Suites. Very nice. Also, the Hampton Inn is only two blocks away.

Positives: A great clean and modern room for half price.

Negatives: A little hard to find because it is behind a large, abandoned, and outlet mall.

Nice and good value.

Positives: Clean and well kept.

Negatives: Older bathroom, sink didn't work well.

Very nice hotel a bit out of the way. Had trouble finding it because it's way at the end of a mall with no signage from the road.

Positives: It was quiet with friendly staff.

Negatives: Poor signage. Had trouble finding it.

The hotel could have been much better with just some new carpet. The breakfast area was very clean and good food.

Positives: The price.

Negatives: Carpet was very dirty! Outdated!

Overall nice hotel with a friendly staff.

Positives: Fresh cookies in the lobby.

Negatives: Difficult to see from the road.

Although we saw the Country Inn from the highway exit ramp, we had a difficult time actually finding it. The ambiance is of a country, possibly Appalachian, inn. The lobby was clean, attractive and cozy. The clerks were very helpful and friendly. The mattress and pillow were comfortable. The breakfast left a little to be desired: only cold cereal and toaster items.

Positives: The mattress and pillow were very comfortable.

Negatives: The breakfast did not include any eggs, meat or fresh made waffles.

The hotel needs an update. The room upon first look, looks fine. It wasn't ideal for a family of five ... I have stayed at other hotels with my three children and we were more comfortable. The tiles in the bathroom were cracked and coming up, the sink was all cracked and by day 2 and 3 smelled and uncleanliness.

Positives: The friendly and accomodating staff, free cookies and free breakfast.

Negatives: The hotel is outdated, falling apart in the rooms and could be much cleaner.

Very nice place to spend the night with kids while traveling to Holland. Can't beat the closeness to Nelis' Dutch Village!

Positives: Breakfast buffet was great, staff were very nice and helpful.

Negatives: Hard to figure out how to get to hotel from the highway.

Clean & comfortable room for one night in Holland. Continental breakfast was adequate but not gourmet. Good deal on Priceline.

Positives: Breakfast was included in price of room.

Negatives: Hallway was dark.

This was a great family friendly hotel to stay in close to shopping and minutes from downtown Holland. A true value!

Positives: This hotels staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. The breakfast was also a bonus to the affordable prices.

Negatives: Our bed was lumpy so we did not sleep great. Also our neighbors or guests in the hallways were loud at times.

Took my wife there. for their romantic get away package. The Lobby is very nice, but the rooms. The first room they gave us smelled like it was a smoking room so I told them we needed to move. They politely gave us another room without any hassle and that room was a little better, but I still had to open the windows, turn on the fan, and the bathroom vent while we were out. Didn't seem to help very much. They said the rooms were smoke-free, but I told them it smelled otherwise and they didn't seemed to be too concerned. Almost like they knew why. I was surprised that it was so worn for it's age. Carpet edges fraying, furniture (TV cabinet and beside table) and woodwork worn, bathroom tub and sink cracked up. It was easy to spot repairs that had been done. The whirlpool must above us must have leaked because of the poor patch work on the ceiling in both our room and the bathroom. Holland has world-class craftsmen, shouldn't be very hard to find one, definitely worth the money. These are relatively cheap ways to keep up a good appearance to keep people coming back. Don't know what they'd do about the smelly rooms. It was in a goofy, hard to get to area. The holey trim on the outside didn't help the appearance, they used interior grad plywood so it needs to be replaced with something better that's maintenance free. Great staff, but I don't think we'll be back. Should have taken a clue from the empty parking lot.

Positives: Staff was very friendly, courteous, professional, and responsive to our requests.

Negatives: Smelly room. Champagne (Andre) didn't taste good, dumped it out.

From the outside the property looked promising. Once inside we were greeted with a pleasant public area and nice counter person. But upon entering our room everything changed. We found a tiny room with small beds that wobbled. The room was so small that one person sitting at the desk had to move every time another wished to walk by. We were thankful we were traveling alone and not with our children.

Positives: Looked good from the outside.

Negatives: Very small room. Very high price. Hard to get to. Highly overrated.

From the wood front steps to the all wood lobby, I loved the country feel to this hotel. All the furniture seemed new and everything was clean and well kept. The front desk was helpful as well. The rooms were no different from the lobby. Nice wood furniture and clean. The only problem with this hotel was it's horrible location.

Positives: Very pleasant atmosphere with a country feel. Cozy and warm.

Negatives: Impossible to find.

The hotel was fine, nothing spectacular. Was in kind of a goofy place at the end of a parking lot. But close to attractions. Probably would not stay again, nicer hotels in the area close by. Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn would be better.

Positives: Looked comfortable.

Negatives: The furniture in the room was a little worn out.

The hotel is bright, clean and very nice. The beds are new and most comfortable. The breakfast went way beyond "continental", there was something for everyone. I would definitely stay in this hotel again!

Positives: The atmosphere was pleasant; the extended breakfast was awesome!

Negatives: The pool was a little small perhaps for one family or so.

My family and I enjoyed our stay and my kids had fun in the pool. The vents in the pool are not in safety form, my daughter cut her self really bad on the metal vents inside the pool when pushing off the wall. Enjoyed the breakfast with so many options, and enjoyed the cookies that they would have in the lobby.

Positives: Clean, friendly, good breakfast and cookies.

Negatives: Pillows way to soft and didn't have any to hand out.

Friendly. A bit dated, older dark carpet, but clean. Hall had an old smoky odor but room was fine. Nice clean bathroom and well kept room. Beds were very comfortable. Location was fine for us but quite hard to find upon arrival in Holland. Need large sign on James ST. There is none and it is at the back of a shopping center.

Positives: The mattress! My husband liked the cookies upon arrival.

Negatives: Hard to find. Lack of sign on the street and in the back of a shopping center.

Great hotel, but hard to find (it's in the back of a shopping center). The staff was helpful and friendly, but they put us in a smoking room unless I specifically asked for a non-smoking room.

Positives: The cookies and breakfast.

Negatives: They put me a smoking room unless I asked for a non-smoking room.
