Nobody likes dirty sheets and the air beds were<BR/>not comfortable.

Positives: It had a pool and restaurant.

Negatives: Our sheets had a stain in them, and the restaurant was overpriced.

The staff took good care of my daughter and me. We had a super time there Thanks!

I stayed for one night and they gave me a free upgrade to a suite after the first two rooms I looked at had TV issues.

Positives: The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating of all my requests.

Negatives: The pool area was nice and spacious but the water was cold and the hot tub was not operational.

It was an o.k. hotel, glad I used Priceline for it. Also, the hotel put a &quot;hold&quot; on my debit card for &quot;incidentals&quot; that I did not plan to use. While I understand that most hotels do that, if I'm not planning to use any &quot;incidentals,&quot; I shouldn't be charged.

Positives: The location was very convenient.

Negatives: There was plumbing being done; big mess.

Was not pleased with the method used to tell us we needed to leave the hotel for check out was told &quot;the sooner you can get out the better&quot;

Positives: Sleep number bed was nice.

Negatives: Staff banging on room door.

The cleanliness was less than acceptable. The hotel is very ran down and needs some major updating. The front desk was very helpful. One night we were enjoying the pool area with another family and ordered pizza all of a sudden the custodian kicks us out and says no food. However we had been there for hours beforehand with snacks and stuff! Just very rude! I had to call and ask for our room to be cleaned and was told everyone lest so they could only replenish.

Positives: Allowed pets and breakfast choice.

Negatives: Loud bar area with an arrest being made. Had to be reminded to clean room.

Girl at check-in was sorting papers on the counter and was annoyed with me checking in. Halls were not clean and worn out. Restaurant hostess was more interested in her phone call than the customer. Food was good, portions were more than adequate. Lounge was nice. I am a business owner and I understand employee problems, You have some!

Positives: Lobby was nice.

Negatives: Sleep number beds are not good ,we stayed up most of the night.

I would have been fine with this hotel. It is a 2 star hotel at best. The food was cafeteria quality, the staff was great. The &quot;gym&quot; was horrid and I was unable to run on the old, wobbly treadmills stuck in a 10X10 room right off the pool with no ventilation. The location is convenient to the highway, there is no place to walk from the hotel, it is load and very old. There is one small elevator and the stairs are in need of refurbishing.

Positives: The desk staff was friendly.

Negatives: The room, bathroom, and gym were tiny and old!

good place to stay for a couple of days. the rooms were more spacious than normal, the swimming pool, the swimming area, and the hot tub were large for a hotel.

Positives: rooms were larger than normal and clean

Negatives: everything was adequate

We stayed here 5 nights, but would've gone elsewhere if we would not have lost our prepayment. We stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and enjoyed it, but the quality of housekeeping has sharply declined since then. We found litter on the floor of the room when we checked in (including a pair of men's briefs under the bed and a computer floppy disk under the desk chair), so the room obviously was not being vacuumed. One day the housekeeping staff skipped our room entirely, and we had to make 3 follow-up requests for them to come. They brought no clean glasses, so the desk clerk told us to go to the restaurant for clean ones and to put our dirty glasses outside the door. (Those weren't picked up for 2 days.)

Positives: Beautiful riverside restaurant with good breakfasts.

Negatives: Except for lobby and restaurant, other public spaces were dirty and trash-strewn.

Very nice and relaxing, and quiet.

Positives: The sleep number beds.

Negatives: The hot tub was closed during the available times to use it.

The worst part about the hotel was the food, it was late, was not good, it made us sick, not to mention poorly managed, wait staff was not friendly, room was musty but they switched our room, there were pubic hair in the second room- we had to clean it. Pool and hot tub was very dirty, elevators were down, hallway and entry ways were very dirty. the only redeeming factor of this hotel was the pleasant. Woman who checked us in she was nice and tried to help us. We had more problems after she left. Then I tried to explain some of the challenges we had to the woman who checked us out and she didn't seem to care , we felt blown off by her , she made no attempt to address or help us with our problems and walked away.

Positives: Woman at front desk was nice when we checked in.

Negatives: Woman who was there when we checked out didn't care our experience was bad, bad food, musty room, pubic hair in room, dirty pool, definitely not a 3star.

Rooms have the necessities needed, sleep number beds in rooms are a plus. Location is convenient, right of US 131 just north of downtown. Star rating was slightly overstated....nothing spectacular about the place.

Positives: Convienent location just off US 131.

Negatives: Shower drain slow, ice machine on floor broken, stairway lighting very dim, hallways not cleaned frequently

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 13 Aug 2009 rated 8 out of 10.

Clean, comfortable and nice older hotel. Not a lot of privacy, though.

Positives: Very clean room and bathroom, as well as very comfortable bed.

Negatives: One could hear conversation from adjacent rooms.

This hotel was way too small for the price I paid.

Positives: Okay location.

Negatives: Small.

It was very busy at the time of my visit. The elevators were always busy and somewhat slow. The room was smaller than expected but clean and in good repair. The bed was a sleep number bed with controls but no instructions. With some guesswork it worked well and was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and, for the price, I would repeat.

Positives: Easy to get to from the freeway

Negatives: Area around the hotel was somewhat depressed

Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 01 Jul 2009 rated 1 out of 10.

This hotel was equivalent to a dirty roadside motel. There was mold in the bathroom and the tub was black not to mention the hallways looked as if they hadn't been swept in years.

Positives: Easy access to the highway.

Negatives: Overall a dirty and disgusting hotel. Mold in the bathroom and tub was black with dirt.

We were there on a 1-night getaway, and it was very nice. Had everything we wanted - restaurant, lounge, indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, workout room. Staff was very friendly, as we asked them several questions throughout our stay. Rooms were nice.

Positives: Great lounge, nice pool and workout room. Clean rooms with comfortable beds.

Negatives: Was not as close to downtown Grand Rapids as I would have liked.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 14 May 2009 rated 6 out of 10.

Hotel staff was very friendly, but hotel was dated and some of the public areas (hallways, elevator, etc.) looked run down. Has all the amenities needed on-site.

Positives: Staff was friendly, and was very pleasant during check-in.

Negatives: Hotel is outdated even though rooms have been redone. Location is also not downtown. Can not walk to downtown district.

Met expectations.

Positives: Location was convenient to major highways.

Negatives: Limited shuttle service.
