Was everything we expected. Close to everything I needed. Stores, restaurants, not far from tourist area. Grand Haven as a town was a great value. Excellent all around, we'll be back!

We always enjoy a Best Western when having a short getaway with our young kids. Clean room. A pool. Complimentary breakfast. Decent location. The Best Western in Grand Haven was no exception. Don't forget to pack your own shampoos and such since there wasn't enough for a family. It would've been nice to have more healthy options at breakfast, though it was fun to make our own waffles!

Positives: It was great family fun to have a clean and good sized indoor pool.

Negatives: There weren't many healthy options in the complimentary breakfast.

I wish I could give all O's. This motel (not a hotel, not an Inn) is disgusting, deceitful. Spend the money and rent a house near the beach or go to a bed and breakfast. The food is rotten and the milk is spoiled. Managers are not educated in the hospitality field. Can't wait for the Hilton to be built and put them out of business.

The hotel was fine except for the location of some of the rooms. They backed up to a wall and seemed a little dangerous at night.

I would have liked the option to be in a handicapped room or be able to ask for a ground level over the computer.

Positives: Reasonably quiet, clean, lots of space, change us to the first floor at the same rate.

Negatives: Pool was too far from room to walk with my handicap had to drive car to main building.

I had a wonderful time at the best western the rooms are very clean and the hotel is very kept up ... the courtyard at the hotel was great for the kids to play in. We will definitely be back!!!

They booked us on second floor and we needed a cot. Cant take cots on second floor so let us give you a more expensive room and pay for the cot and the more expensive room on first floor. They don't have laundry facilities. Front desk staff watched every move that we made once checked in which made us feel like 40 year old kids.

Positives: Close to lots of things.

Negatives: Could not breathe in pool area no ventilation lots of chemicals.

I would only recommend this hotel to families with children. The family next to us was a little bit noisy but other than that it was a good hotel for families.

Positives: Very friendly and helpful staff.
