Additional details
The Victorian Rose Room - This room is the favorite of many, including newlyweds! With a whirlpool bath, the comfortable Victorian-style high oak queen-size bed and the romantic rose motif, one may easily forget the present-day hustle and bustle and relax in the atmosphere of a bye-gone age. Decorated in soft pinks and mauves, this room will delight the seeker of quiet comfort.
The Doll Room - The forest green and cream doll room boasts a country farm banister bed topped with a country quilt and a tilt-mirror dressing room. The adjoining bathroom is cream and forest green tile. Rag dolls look on from a chair and a bedside table, giving the room a touch of whimsical charm.
The Southwest Room - Decorated in desert colors with an oak and wrought iron queen size bed and a matching daybed, the Southwest room is both dramatic and elegant. Its bathroom with wrought iron selves and colorful accesories reflect the styles found in the inns of Arizona and New Mexico. It is the most spacious of our rooms.
The Keekorok Room - The bamboo and wicker furniture and bamboo ceiling give a first impression of bing in Africa, not Michigan! The safari-print quilt and batik-inspired colors kindle memories we collected on a trip to Kenya in 1991. To enhance the feeling of being on safari, we have included momentos and photgraphs from our trip. It has a queen size bed, and the safari theme continues in the full bathroom.
The Jon Abbott Room - With its decor utilizing various shades of blue, the word best decribing the Jon Abbott room is restful. Its adjoining bathroom is blue and cream. The high Victorian-style oak queen-size bed is both beautiful and cozy.
