Charity Island Lodge is a cottage located in Au Gres.

Charity Lodge was built in the summer of 2003 by Dean and Debbie Wiltse of Oscoda Michigan.

This knotty pine, island retreat is the first seasonal home built on the Big Charity Island other than the lighthouse keepers home built originally in 1856.

Uniquely isolated in the middle of Saginaw Bay (10 miles from either shore), Charity Island is an unspoiled natural wilderness now owned and protected by the Federal Fish and Wildlife Service as a sanctuary.
