Clean. comfortable, close to highway, gas, eateries and grocery store. Friendly staff. Free parking & continental breakfast. Good TV station selection.

The room was clean and staff was friendly. The only thing we didn't like was the smoking rooms down the hall smoke smell seemed to linger in the hall. There was no elevator to use to go to 2nd floor. It would have made it nicer!
Positives: Not far from destination and close to stores.
Negatives: Smoking rooms down the hall smell could be smelt in our room.

The Thurmont Super-8 motel gets all the basics right: reasonable prices, convenient parking, comfortable beds with great mattresses, a spotless room and bathroom, an in-room mini-fridge, complementary continental breakfast, non-smoking rooms that don't smell overly smoky, good, well-positioned reading and room lighting, free internet, and friendly, efficient staff.
Positives: Cleanliness, efficiency, location, unexpected in-room mini-fridge.
Negatives: It lacked a swimming pool, but I wouldn't have had much time to use it anyway.

this hotel sits at the bottom of a beautiful state park and is close to local restaurants. It sits in a quiet, neighborhood setting and appears to be in a very safe surrounding. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it is. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
Positives: I was accustomed to Super 8 's being more like a truck stop hotel and this was far from it..it is in a very nice, safe area.
Negatives: no swimming pool.

Good clean hotel, but even non-smoking rooms smelled of smoke from other rooms.

I do not think anyplace in this country should be like this one. I have illnesses which inhibit stairs and distance walking and it makes me very angry you do not disclose this on your site along with the hotel.
Positives: Extremely clean room.

I had to be in Thurmont and this was the only place available in Thurmont. Next choice was 15 miles away.
Positives: Location was perfect for me. Hotel was ok only there to sleep.
Negatives: No complaint.
