We went here because we attended a concert at the Redskin stadium, 2 hours from our home it was only 1/2 hour away and easily accessible. Had we been staying longer, we would have taken advantage of the Metro station right across the street into DC. There are both indoor and outdoor pools but we checked in too late to use these. They charged $15 for parking which I felt was excessive for a suburban hotel! They had a decent breakfast buffet but it seemed a bit pricey so we dined across the street at an upscale diner.

Positives: Large room, great toiletries, hairdryer, and provided as well as coffee.

Negatives: Could use a mini fridge, & a garden or Jacuzzi tub.

Good value at under $60. Great tidy rooms. Good access to Bethesda. Great dining options.

Positives: Great rooms.

Negatives: Parking charge; Lousy wifi. Slowish LAN Internet with a $9.99 charge.

Other then the surprise that I had to pay more money then I paid an extra $15 hidden parking charge, it was a good stay.

Positives: Price

Negatives: I was charged a parking fee of $15. Did not except charge so I parked 3 blocks away.

Although right across the street from a METRO stop, this hotel did not have wireless internet and was noisy. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff was professional. I did not like having to pay for internet and parking.

Positives: Close to Metro.

Negatives: No wireless internet.

Overall is a good location. Walking distance from the metro station, nice restaurants around the area, but hotel staff very unfriendly and not welling to accommodate your requests.

Positives: It looks beautiful and the metro station is less than a block from the hotel, very convenient to go to DC.

Negatives: They didn't have to queens bed in a room, as we requested, staff not friendly and have to stay in on a pull out couch.

If your having a convention or a big business meeting this hotel will do, sleep & have a drink this hotel is fine for that, but thats about it!

Positives: The design was nice, the bar could have been a bit bigger & stayed open later, the pool was OK, but kinda small & could have stay open later.

Negatives: Where my room was in the back with no view, the hotel staff didn't clean my room very good, it was downright sorry & no kitchen in it!

Convenient place to stay for events or destinations in suburban Washington DC, including for events at the University of Maryland.

Positives: Room was spacious and comfortable. At our request they switched us to a room with one king bed.

Negatives: USD 15 for parking in a relatively suburban location was unexpected. Charges also for Internet.

Beautiful, very large.

Positives: The bed and the bedding.

Negatives: They charged for parking.

Exceeded expectations. Luxurious decor, helpful staff.

Positives: Luxurious feel and decor, helpful staff, clean and comfortable.

Negatives: It was a good hotel. Nothing was wrong. Except the $15 charge for parking.

Friendly staff, decent gym (not a stuffy hotel room with equipment).

Positives: The staff was fantastic.

Negatives: The atrium can make for a noisy situation.

It is a luxurious hotel with friendly staff and comfortable, clean rooms. In the past I never paid for parking at a hotel, but have found it more common lately. I resent this because it adds to the cost of the room, which is not accurately reflected in the priced agreed to.

Positives: The reception my pet received; the overall cleanliness of the room.

Negatives: Having to pay for parking.

Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 17 Nov 2010 rated 1 out of 10.

This hotel is a complete rip off, they charge 150 dollars a night (not what I paid, but either way), then they charge 15 dollars a night just to park your car and another 20 dollars a day just to use the Internet in your room. They say they have wireless in the lobby, but will not give out the password to access it. The pool heater was broken and it was like an icicle. Staff was very rude and everything was overpriced.

Positives: Absolutely nothing very disappointed.

Negatives: Just about everything, staff was rude, rip off for parking Internet and food.

The hotel was clean and attractive. I was impressed with the inside of the hotel, very nice architecture and design. The room coffee was good with the flavored creamers. Would have liked toothpaste instead of mouthwash in the bathroom. Pillows and bed were comfortable. I would recommend the hotel. The parking was too much money for a guest. $15.00 for overnight parking is high. $5.00 would have been reasonable and free much better. It is the first time I was ever charged for parking at a hotel.

Positives: The room coffee was exceptional with flavored creamers.

Negatives: The $15.00 parking fee for guests! $5.00 would have been reasonable.

The room was below ground with window facing elevators; loud; parking was supposed to be free but my card was charged $15. Recent road construction makes it difficult to get to easily.

Positives: Attractive.

Negatives: Room was in the basement.

Negatives: Nothing.

The hotel is on a busy street, difficult to walk anywhere to eat, would have to cross 4 lanes of traffic and there is no easy access light.

Positives: Location to my meetings.

Negatives: Expensive car parking, meals very exp. Atrium noises magnified at night.

Very pleased with our stay. The hotel was upscale, clean, and quiet. The hotel had an atrium which was a nice change from the standard hotels we are accustomed to staying at. Would like to return and stay for a few days to visit the attractions in Washington DC.

Positives: Location, price, and quality of accommodations.

Negatives: Had to pay for parking.

A great place to stay if you want to be in downtown Rockville. Paid parking is required, and I'm never happy to have to pay for parking when I'm a guest at a hotel. Paid internet access is also required, which is ridiculous these days.

Positives: Beautiful hotel, clean and bright..

Negatives: The majority of the staff were unfriendly.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sat 10 Jul 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

The overall experience was good rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, and the lobby aesthetics were beautiful. The amenities were over priced. For the price you don't have anything complementary other than the coffee in the room or lobby. Otherwise get ready to pay for anything else. For a family this is really not the place specially if your on a budget. Now for the business traveler this is the place for you. It has a bar and restaurant expensive, but very decadent. Lobby is definitely for business affairs. Like
I said for my purpose it was ok pricey, but good.

Positives: Almost everything was good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Negatives: The restaurant was over priced $3.00 for a cup of milk, $5.00 for a cup of coffee, the gym was really small.

Beautiful lobby; accommodating staff; gave a late check=out; breakfast not too expensive; lovely clean room and bathroom.....flat screen TV.
Positives: Accommodating staff, came late for breakfast and served with a smile.

Negatives: Bit far from DC.

I thought this was a very nice hotel, but my room was not ready until very late and I had to pay for parking.

Positives: Extremely luxurious accommodations.

Negatives: My room was not ready until after 7:00pm.

Slightly below standard business hotel.

Positives: Location on Rockville Pike and right next to Metro station.

Negatives: Noisy partygoers kept us up at night; promised king room, not available.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, metro bus/rail accessible to suburbs and downtown DC, variety of shops, retail stores, and restaurants, hotel staff: desk & guest attendants were top-notched!

Positives: Room amenities, space, bedding comfort & staff's prompt response to guest needs.

Negatives: Loud AC/heating system was extremely loud and annoying.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sat 20 Mar 2010 rated 10 out of 10.

The hotel & staff were top notch but the only ice machine we found with ice was on the 8th floor & we were on the 5th floor. We would certainly stay at the hotel again or recommend it to friends.

Positives: We were impressed with the way a wedding was set up - it was a lovely setting. We were not a part of it, just spectators.

Negatives: The ice machine on our floor was always empty & we had to run from floor to floor.

Has very attractive ambiance and luxury look. Location is near I 270 and close to Rockville, MD.

Positives: Comfortable, excellent location and clean environment. Friendly staff.

Negatives: Moving in and out with bags.

For the rate I paid, I could not have hoped for a nicer room!! It was lovely--very comfortable and large in size. Very quiet. The common area was elegant and welcoming. A very nice place to stay! It is also close to restaurants and shopping areas, so while it is a ways off of the I-270 corridor, businesses were conveniently located.

Positives: Excellent accommodations! Large room with great decor!

Negatives: Poor experience with 2 staff people; paid parking in a non-metro area.

Positives: It was nice!

Negatives: Too security conscious.

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. I was happy with what I paid. The bathroom fan and room heating unit were somewhat noisy. I didn't like a daily $12 parking fee and $9.95 internet charge.

Positives: Clean and comfortable.

Negatives: Additional fees for parking and internet.

My adult son and I stayed here on vacation and were impressed by the friendly staff, how spotless it was and plan on staying there again.

Positives: Clean - very convenient to METRO line - safe.

Negatives: $12.00 a day to park your car.

It was a nice hotel, but I did not like the fact that you had to pay for parking. I have stayed at several other hotels in the area and never had to pay for parking. You also had to pay $10 for the internet in your room and it wasn't even wireless.

Positives: Room was clean and attractive.

Negatives: You had to pay $12 for parking.

Good place to stay if you get a good price.

Positives: Close to Metro.

Negatives: Nothing.

This hotel has bad policies but nice staff. The air conditioner never operated correctly. The bar didn't serve food after 11:00 pm but didn't pick up the menus on the tables so you think you're getting a late snack. I wouldn't stay there again.

Positives: Accommodating staff.

Negatives: Air conditioner, frigid, and rooms with entrances on two sides.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 07 May 2009 rated 6 out of 10.

A concert was held in the hotel lobby. The music was unbearable. It was so loud that we could not communicate with one another in the room or hear the TV. I have never been subjected to this type of inconsiderate thinking by hotel management. Every room faces the lobby therefore no one was immune from the noise. It also made the hotel bar an unpopular place. The hotel lost a lot of revenue for Inhouse eating and drinking. Would not stay there during an event again.

Positives: Near metro/mall.

Negatives: The jacuzzi did not work.
