The front desk staff were extremely helpful and so wonderful. The room was clean and just one of the best hotels I've stayed in so far. (and i stay in a hotel about once every two weeks)
Positives: Amazing front desk staff and extremely quite and wonderful rooms.
Negatives: There was nothing!!

The suite with kitchenette, including dishwasher, is great. But the bathtub that would not drain was offensive. The staff did promise to fix it, they never did, though they said they had. Nor did they offer to change our room. It was a one night stay, so we grinned & bore it.
Positives: Free fruit.
Negatives: The staff being untruthful about repairs.

It exceeded my expectations for the price.
Positives: Bed was comfortable.
Negatives: Outside was a little dirty, and I could hear the rooms next to me.

The hotel is clean and good for a stay, although a little far from D.C. It is located near I-270, and you can park and drive. I think it is much better than some Days Inns and Comfort Inns. But the hotel did charge an additional $88. I had no idea about the charge.
Positives: It is clean and well maintained.
Negatives: None.

Positives: The room contained everything you could want and was also very spacious.
Negatives: 1st floor is literally you open your window and your right outside.

This hotel is definitely an upgrade from the 1 star. A 2 star w/a 3 star feel. I had more channels than the traditional type of this hotel. They had food for sale if I didn't feel like going to the store. A pool: very nice. The staff was very friendly.
Positives: The many places to sit in your room besides the bed.
Negatives: N/A

The room was very nice, and the amenities were far above what I expected. The only downside is how far it is from downtown DC, if that's where you're headed, though the Shady Grove park and ride isn't too far away. Overall excellent quality and excellent value -- I would stay there again.
Positives: My room had a full kitchenette!
Negatives: Place was a bit hard to find; far from DC.

Great furnishings and fittings. Good location, right off 270. Full kitchen with range and dish-washer, and enough dishes to cook and eat in. Small room, but convenient great for the price.
Positives: Neat, clean. Good furnishings and fittings and full kitchen.
Negatives: Service could be more prompt, esp. at front desk.

This was one of the best places I've stayed at in a long time. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. I also appreciated the non-smoking building. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the bed was comfortable. We hope to stay there again.
Positives: Clean, non-smoking building.
Negatives: Walls too thin.

They booked a non smoking room for us when we got there, it was raining and their is NO cover, umbrellas, staff or anything to unpack during a shower. We were stuck in our car for forty minutes waiting for the rain to stop. After they gave us a smoking room, they made it as far away as possible, 4th floor corner pocket. There we no ashtrays in the room and after 3 days of asking for them, and the front desk promising to send them up, they arrived when we were opening our door, with our luggage on our way out, last day. Staff was RUDE when we asked for a smoking room insisting it was all our fault, claiming we did not reserve a smoking room, when in fact we did. No game room for children and you MUST give them your credit card in order to enter their snack machines in the lobby? We told the maid we did not want maid service, we would clean ourselves, she insisted on cleaning and held us up for the day while we waited for her to clean. She said she only wanted to make our beds but never did. Horrible hotel and I would never ever book again. We had to eat with our fingers and a medium done sticker, because there were only two spoons and a butter knife in the room. We asked for more cutlery but NEVER got any. Had to pay extra from the restaurant to get cutlery to eat with. Vending machines were broken and could not find a soda machine anywhere near the 4th floor. The front desk clerk acted like he hated Americans and NEVER took care of any of our needs which were not much. Rude, rude, and ruder. I have stayed at better "lucky six" hotels than this Marriott. I cannot believe that Marriott has their name on this hotel. I will never book there again. Pool closes early too. We stayed at Marriott hotels the whole way up and I book all my husbands stays on business and we had the BEST time at the other Marriott's but this was horrible and very inattentive to any of our needs. I heard other complaints from other guests too.
Positives: Clean.
Negatives: Maid never came, they screwed up our reservations and were rude about changing them, blaming us and they NEVER responded to our requests.

This is one of the best hotels I have had the pleasure. It has any amenity you need. Simply wonderful.
Positives: Staff was very friendly and courteous and professional, rooms were spacious, furnished beautifully and kitchen space too is great.
Negatives: Called for maintenance and they never showed up.
