Gorgeous hotel in a fabulous location, right in the middle of shopping, business and restaurants. Easy access to all that Washington has to offer, and attached to the beautiful new Conference Center.
Positives: Exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff, especially at front desk.
Negatives: Bundles of linen left out in the hall waiting to be picked up.

I would suggest this hotel for individuals traveling for any reason. The rooms are very spacious, with modern decor, marble floors and granite counter tops. Front desk staff were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating.
Positives: The close proximity to public metro station. It was directly across the street.
Negatives: I did not like the housekeeping staff. After the room had been cleaned a second person would always seem to come in behind them.

Great for business traveling and short stay for couples. If have kids, need an extra room as rooms are too small for my taste.
Positives: Lobby was nice.
Negatives: Room entirely too small. Need more space to be comfortable. Would have liked complimentary breakfast and more channel selections.

The hotel was above what I expected for 3-star hotel. It was very clean and room service of great. I felt very safe in the city of Bethesda, MD. I was not afraid to walk in the neighborhood.
Positives: It was very clean, very convenient to shopping, food and entertainment events, and the staff was very professional.
Negatives: Nothing.

They had a hard time finding my reservation, since I did not have a computer, they sent me to the business center. It was creepy. That part of the hotel with meeting rooms were DARK, with no possibility to turn on any lights. The business center was in disarray, low tuner, copy machine with some jam. I complained about it but they just disregarded my complaint. The hotel location is great, the staff is not that great.
Positives: The location is great, close to the metro station.
Negatives: Since they did not have many guests, they turned down the lights of half it the hotel, business center included!

This Marriott was very nice and met all of our expectations. It was 1 block from the White Flint Metro station, which allowed for easy transport into DC for tourism and our leisure activities. The hotel staff was friendly and non-obtrusive. The room was very comfortable. We enjoyed the swimming pool, but were disappointed that there wasn't a hot tub. The gym was very nice with plenty of aerobic equipment and weights. There were ample restaurant choices in the area and it was relatively easy to navigate the busy roads. We recommend this hotel and would consider staying here again on any other trips to the DC area.
Positives: Hotel in great location in relation to the DC Metro. Hotel exceeded our expectations. Very nice and comfortable.
Negatives: No hot tub

I was traveling with two other family members. While booking through priceline, naturally, there was no indication of number of beds. After confirmation, we called the hotel and the staff was very accomendating and guarantee us two double beds. We stayed there for two nights and enjoyed every moment.
Positives: Excellent location, clean, friendly staff.
Negatives: Nothing.

Very nice. Nice location to the pool we went to for a swim meet.
Positives: Friendly and helpful.
Negatives: The valet sat in my car for 30 minutes with the radio and car running after I turned my keys over to him.

I absolutely loved the hotel. Obviously the hotel received an extensive remodeling that likely included new doors. My door did not latch and it had to be slammed. When I returned to my room and pushed on the door, I walked right in my room without using the key card. You could not visually tell that the door did not lock, but I listed for the latch and did not hear one. I understand why housekeeping has never noticed. A maintenance person arrived and repaired the door. While the maintenance person was working on my door I tried calling the front desk to see find out where the network cable was to hook up to Internet. While I was waiting for an answer the maintenance person asked if there was anything else he could do. I asked if dialing 0 should get the front desk. He said yes. I hung up and said, I am just trying to find the network cable to hook up my computer. He went to the closest and got it for me. I was impressed that he knew where it was.
Positives: Large, modern, clean and comfortable feeling.
Negatives: Dialed 0 and let phone ring more than 30 times.

Hotel staff was extremely courteous and friendly. Workout area was great, very clean and well taken care of. The hotel itself was very nice. Rooms were kind of small but clean and adequate. Five minutes or less from White Flint Mall and numerous restaurants. Metro was walking distance from the hotel (may be 300 yards) Only downside was the hotel charged $12/day to park your car there.
Positives: Very Friendly and courteous staff.
Negatives: $12.00 a day to park your car at the hotel.

A nice Marriot convenient to the Metro at White Flint Station. Nice small pool. There was some construction at the hotel which was not so nice. A sauna or hot tub would have been a nice addition which they do not have.
Positives: Nice pool. Convenient to the Metro.
Negatives: Construction the hotel with hammering, sawing, and electrical smell.

Great meeting hotel/mini convention. Not conveniently located near the Bethesda business district. Some hotels in Bethesda and Rockville Pike are not ideal for service to NIH.
Positives: Convenient to Metro station.
Negatives: Lack of good restaurants were in walking distance.

This hotel was nice, but watch out giving them your credit card info. I placed my credit card on file with the hotel for incidental charges for my 1 night stay. A few days after my stay I checked my credit card statement and the hotel charged my credit card for another night stay. Since I only stayed one night the only thing I can think, is someone either stole my information or the staff made a major error with my credit card-since the charges on my receipt don't match what I was charged for the room. I have never had this kind of experience before, and it's sad that it happened at the Marriot which has such a nice reputation. The staff at this Marriot however have given this chain a very bad reputation in my eyes and they don't deserve a good rating.
Positives: This hotel is huge, and it is located right next to the Metro station, so accessing D.C. and other attractions in Maryland is a lot easier.
Negatives: The hotel billed my credit card for a 2nd night stay when I only stayed one night.

This hotel is right next to the White Flint Metro station. It is very clean with nice modern furnishings in the lobby and rooms. The parking and on site restaurant seemed quite expensive, but you can walk about 0.5 mile to the White Flint Mall where there is a PF Changes and Cheesecake Factory. The staff was very friendly and attentive. If you are taking the Metro into downtown everyday, this hotel can't be beat.
Positives: Close to the Metro station, very clean, attractive rooms and lobby.
Negatives: Parking is expensive, lobby and restaurant seemed to have the temperature set too low.
