Beautiful room, quick and very tasty room service. Old television set though that didn't have the best reception. The TV's definitely need to be upgraded.

Positives: Location, and very comfortable room.

Negatives: I called ahead to confirm and request a portable crib - but when I got to my room it wasn't there and it wasn't brought to me. Didn't need after all.

Easy to get to all of DC on the Metro which is just down an elevator and than an escalator (even my 80 plus mother negotiated it). Everyone in the hotel was very helpful. A good tip is that the Morton's restaurant inside the hotel has a happy hour with 6 oz steak sandwich for $6 plus other specials.

Positives: Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Right on top of metro red line.

Negatives: Nothing.

The Hyatt Regency Bethesda is a very welcoming hotel with pleasant and attentive staff, ready to great you with a smile and a nod no matter the time of day or location you run into them. The rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. The food is fabulous, the atmosphere is welcoming and entertaining. I have stayed here several times and this is my favorite hotel in the Bethesda area, it is easy to get into and out of via car and the city is easy to navigate for me from their location. I am always pleased to stay with the Hyatt.

Positives: The staff are always polite and attentive, the rooms are spacious and clean, and well appointed.

Negatives: There isn't anything I don't like about this hotel.

This hotel was very comfortable. The room we had was spacious even with a couch, desk and two queen beds in it. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Positives: Very comfortable beds and loved the Starbucks coffee in the lobby.

Negatives: Nothing that I experienced on our stay.

Although location is ideal for business travelers, this hotel borders on 2.5/3 stars for the price they charge. It was not particularly clean nor luxurious. The staff, however, was quiet friendly and helpful. In their quest to make hotel stays more efficient for the business traveler, they lost site of the other small luxuries that business travelers pay for and expect.

Positives: It is extremely convenient to metro transportation for Bethesda and DC area.

Negatives: The hotel needs a renovation desperately. The room door was dirty, the walls paper thin. I could hear my neighbors everything they opened their door.

I had good experience staying at Hyatt Bethesda.

Positives: The hotel is very clean. The environment is nice.

Negatives: I was stuck in a elevator for five minutes. It was very scary.

Good hotel for business travelers.

Positives: Clean and great location.

Negatives: Room service ends at 11 am.

Overall a nice hotel. I thought the elevators were ridiculously slow...there were three elevators, but when you pushed the button you had to wait a long time for an elevator to come. We did not get to use the pool because it was somewhat small and absolutely full of young children. The hot tub was right beside the pool, and kids were jumping from the hot tub to the pool and back, and even jumping into the hot tub from the edge. We were disappointed because we really wanted to use the pool and hot tub too, but there just wasn't room and there were too many splashing jumping kids.

Positives: Nice room, friendly helpful staff, location.

Negatives: Charge for internet, slow elevators, pool small and FULL of young children.

Everything about the Hyatt Bethesda was fantastic except the room. The lobby area, the restaurants, the fitness area were at a 3.5 star level, but the room was maybe a 2 star level. Parking and Internet should be included; at least Internet.

Positives: The hotel is in a fantastic location and has everything you need!

Negatives: The rooms were outdated and need better maintenance.

The staff was incredible. Friendly & professional. Hotel was beautiful inside. The room we had was an odd shape though, with the bed not facing the TV, which made it hard for the 2nd person in the room to watch. Would have loved a small table & chairs, as we had take out food, and it wasn't easy to eat there. Otherwise it was a great hotel and would recommend.

Positives: The staff was incredibly professional and very nice.

Negatives: Couldn't watch TV easily, bed facing another direction, only computer chair in room.

OK, hated the parking if you need to take the car out twice in one day it can get costly. The room was comfortable, but no shampoo, only two coffee set ups with powder creamer. Asked for more told to call room service.

Positives: Front desk.

Negatives: Room coffee was not only insufficient, but lacking in many ways.

Easy access to town and freeway. Wonderful hotel.

Positives: Good services and quiet.

Negatives: Pool closes at 8pm, way too early.

I was very disappointed that my first night down I had spent almost 2 hours trying to find parking for my SUV with a short trailer attached. I had called in advance and they assured me that they could accommodate the vehicle. When I got there that was not the case I had disconnect my trailer my business tools over three blocks away from the hotel and then had to pay $20 just to park my car in their garage. On the second night I had made arrangements to leave the vehicle in the valet area for only a couple of hours until we checked out which also became an hour and a half ordeal. This cut into my 3 hours of rest time
I had before having to leave on a 3 1/2 hour ride home at 6 am. The parking and communication are the only problems
I had with the hotel it was just a headache
I did not wish to deal with when i am working it is unprofessional in my eyes. Other than the parking fiasco the hotel was a nice hotel to stay in.

Positives: The hotel was very nice, and the rooms were very comfortable.

Negatives: Having to pay for parking. They could not accommodate my SUV with a trailer like they said they could.

I found it interesting that my bid seemed to receive a lesser degree of quality that the Hyatt projects for their properties. Housekeeping was bad, missed a garbage can one (out of 3) day as well as half the towels. Best thing was that I was within walking distance of the work I had to do and city parking lots were free on the weekends so I didn't need to use the vehicle. Worst thing was the bottle of water on the desk for $3.75 and Internet in the room $9.99 p/24 hrs.

Positives: Proximity to my business involvement.

Negatives: Thin towels, marred furniture and

Hotel was nice, but I was disappointed being that it was and staff friendly. Expected more for a Hyatt.

Positives: The staff was very friendly and informative.

Negatives: Water damage in bathroom and bedroom ceiling. No fan in bathroom and no complimentary coffee. Had to pay for parking.

Negatives: Nothing.

Have stayed at this facility over a period of ten+ years; it is in need of updating. Also, parking attendant needs to understand spoken and written English - it took 15 minutes to get out of garage because of failure to understand/read the hotel receipt when presented. (This, at 5:30 a.m when we needed to get on the road to beat D.C. traffic!).

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Parking facility difficult to progress.

The hotel and accommodations were perfect for my short business trip. I enjoyed taking the Metro into DC after my meetings because I know the history of traffic in the area (it is horrible! The room was spacious and bed comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff. I would stay there again.

Positives: Accessibility to the Metro and central location in Bethesda, MD.

Negatives: In & out parking should be $10 and overnight parking should be $15.

The hotel staff is very nice. However, they need to ensure that they do a better job of maintaining the cleanliness of all aspects of their rooms - even the mattress cover.

Positives: The staff was very friendly.

Negatives: My mattress cover appeared as if it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. The bathroom could also have been cleaned a little more thoroughly.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 15 Apr 2010 rated 10 out of 10.

Very good hotel to stay at but need some small improvements ie, parking fees and internet charges.

Positives: The area, the refinement, the design, a system to play your IPOD and comfortable bed.

Negatives: Parking fees, the charge for internet access and Channel 24 did not have sound for two days.

Overall, I am happy with my visit. The hotel was clean, convenient and the staff was very helpful. As long as you plan on dining out this is a good place to stay.

Positives: Convenience and helpful, friendly staff.

Negatives: Dining prices to expensive and parking expensive.

The room was cleaned nicely everyday. Overall security, safety, cleanliness, nice service people, clean linens and towels, nice amenities in the room. Comfortable beds, room temperature in winter was warm and really nothing to complain about.

Positives: Clean rooms.

Negatives: Had to pay $20/day parking in the Suburbs.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 03 Dec 2009 rated 7 out of 10.

Overall, good for the area.

Positives: Ease of check-in/check-out.

Negatives: Expensive internet, room cleanliness, and expensive parking.

The hotel was beautiful. The people working at every level were professional and respectful. They seemed to be quality people and well trained in their jobs. I would book Priceline again in the future. I would love to stay at this hotel again.

Positives: The people working at the hotel were polite, friendly and helpful.

Negatives: I liked everything. It was the first time I booked a hotel room using Priceline. I would do it again.

Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 28 Oct 2009 rated 4 out of 10.

I was surprised at how old and outdated the hotel was. The room has a musty medicinal spell as did the hallways. I had to wait too long for an elevator and ended up walking up and down the stairs. The garage was a bit complicated to navigate. The room did not have a chair for sitting, only a desk chair. The towels were of low quality.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Hallways and room had musty smells - the pool had too much chlorine.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 27 Oct 2009 rated 6 out of 10.

A nice convenient location.

Positives: The Metro station is on the same site.

Negatives: Our toilet kept running and the sink would not drain.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sun 18 Oct 2009 rated 9 out of 10.

I liked that there was no bed spread on the bed just a coverlet folded at the foot of the bed on top of fresh clean sheets. The shower needed a good cleaning and the sink had a leak. For the price I was very satisfied.

Positives: Very convenient to the Metro system.

Negatives: The shower was not very clean

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 15 Oct 2009 rated 9 out of 10.

Conveniently located with pleasant and clean rooms and friendly staff. Continental breakfast wasn't complimentary, each item on the menu was very pricey, the selection of choices rather modest, however the food was fresh and pleasantly presented.

Positives: Comfort, convenient location, cleanliness.

Negatives: Fees for all additional services, facilities such as parking, Internet, continental breakfast was not complimentary as it is in most hotels.

It
is a convenient location in downtown Bethesda. Very friendly staff typical of the Hyatt brand. Still lacks efficiency in many areas. There is room for improvement in the housekeeping department.

Positives: The friendliness of the staff plus it has improved from our last visit.

Negatives: The room and bathroom is not as clean as in other Hyatts.

Negatives: The walls were very thin.
