If you are not on the first floor, I feel it would be much better. It was quite loud because of the wedding reception and then the staff cleaning up afterwords.
Positives: The views were beautiful from the outside rooms.
Negatives: Our room was on the first floor next to the ball room where a wedding reception was taking place so it was loud until after 11.

Enjoyed the hotel on the water located downtown. Did not like the valet parking or the additional expense. Did not find the front desk to be super friendly. Our room was located next to the washer and dryer room and it was not quiet. Did not complain due to the reasonable room rate but if I had paid full price, I would have definitely complained to the management. Other than valet parking and poor room location it was a good experience.
Positives: On the waterfront, downtown Annapolis.
Negatives: Valet Parking at $22 a night.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for a wedding. The staff was super friendly and insightful. When we checked in we were given a king bed instead of the two double beds. The room was big and spacious and had a decent size bathroom and a separate living room. It was all extremely clean. The hotel is in a great area right on the water and in the heart of historic Annapolis. The restaurants, bars, shops are only a 5 minute walk away.
Positives: Big spacious clean room with separate living room.
Negatives: Only valet parking available.

As an older building (probably 40+ years), it has vintage "Holiday Inn" feel. Room accommodations are fine (TV is CRT, not LCD) but the bathroom/dressing area is ho-hum old. Got a good rate on the room through Priceline, but after adding in a $22/day parking plus valet tips and costs for WiFi, the rate was not really a bargain. The Sheraton is about a mile outside of Annapolis and has free parking and WiFi for equivalent accommodations. I've stayed there many times before, and I'll stay there in the future.
Positives: Easy access to downtown Annapolis.
Negatives: Expensive valet parking only; Extra charge for WiFi.

Would definitely recommend.
Positives: Location was perfect-walk to USNA and downtown.
Negatives: Fee for parking.

Hotel is a class act and not being full we could have at least been offered a king room and not be put in a twin double handicap room.
Positives: Love the location.
Negatives: Being placed in a handicap minimal room.

The staff was first class in their assistance to their guests. The rooms are appointed beautifully and were very comfortable. The Naval Academy, restaurants and tourist sites are within walking distance although a good hike for some.
Positives: The hotel was within walking distance of all the places that we needed to visit.
Negatives: Needed two doubles but they only had a king. The calk in the bathroom needed whitening.

I forgot a comb and called down to the front desk and they barely spoke English and told me, they did not have any combs or brushes. Also, I was told I might be able to find one in a vending machine. When I took a shower, the water that came out was brown and rusty for about 15 seconds. I would expect better from the Marriot.
Positives: Good location.
Negatives: Poor service.

Was a fantastic weekend walking around the harbor for commission week but coming back to the hotel was a comfortable oasis in the hustle of the city. Would absolutely recommend to friends and family.
Positives: Handled a problem with reservation promptly and professionally with complete satisfaction.
Negatives: Having to pay for parking.

Very nice hotel. Parking is $19/day which is steep, but otherwise, I was very satisfied with our stay. The staff was great and the room was beautiful and had a beautiful view. We were charged $4 for a water that we didn't consume, but I took the bill to the front desk and they took the charge off immediately.
Positives: Location is supreme, right in Downtown Annapolis on the water with a playground across the street.
Negatives: It's a little pricey.

This hotel is located conveniently close to the Annapolis waterfront area and has it's own dock around the outside of the hotel. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Our room had a strange bed set up that folded up into a unit on the wall and was not very comfortable. We had a hard time getting the temperature adjusted to a comfortable level for sleeping. You can tell this is an older hotel that they've updated a bit. I've stayed in several Marriott hotels and missed the comfortable mattress that I usually get in a Marriott.
Positives: Excellent location near the waterfront area, hotel staff very friendly and helpful.
Negatives: Size of rooms, comfort of bed,

I really liked my brief stay at this hotel. Since then, I have recommended it numerous times to my coworkers and employees.
Positives: Great location with easy access to everything in Downtown Annapolis.
Negatives: Limited parking options.

This is a very nice hotel in the best location in Annapolis. The room was very nice, with a great television and wonderful bath and body works amenities. I do hate it when you pay to stay in an upscale hotel and they charge you for internet use. Also, our room was on the third floor with huge air conditioning units outside of our window on a connecting roof. This was very noisy inside our room. The view from the hotel restaurant is wonderful, and the food from room service was very good.
Positives: Rooms were very nice, nice TVs and amenities.
Negatives: Our room was next to a roof with the noisy air conditioning units.

Positives: Right on the water - close to everything.
Negatives: $19 a night for parking.

We specifically chose this hotel because of its location. We LOVE Annapolis, and wanted to stay on the water.
Positives: Location!
Negatives: I liked it all.

This hotel is in a great location and is upscale. However, although the rooms are beautifully decorated and have large plasma TVs, the rooms on the second floor raked of the cooking smells from the banquet halls on the same floor. It was so bad on the night we were there that we had to leave the room until the party was over. Our clothes all smelled of garlic when we left. Otherwise, we really liked the hotel and the staff was pleasant and helpful.
Positives: Beautiful, updated room in a great location.
Negatives: Our room was next to a banquet kitchen and the room smelled like garlic and other food. Our clothes smelled when we left.

We recently spent 4 days in Annapolis to attend our son's wedding. Many family members choose the Annapolis Waterfront Marriott as their hotel because of it's perfect location. At any given time there were at least 12 - 16 of us visiting the shops, gathering for lunch or taking a walk to enjoy an ice cream or a cup of coffee. The smaller children released some of their energy at the school playground across the street. Having a full restaurant at the hotel was convenient for room service, breakfast, and assembling for dinner and drinks in the evening. Staying there made our great event even more perfect.
Positives: All of the hotel staff were very accommodating, providing a mini frig, helping with small children, providing adjoining rooms.
Negatives: Room containing 2 double beds were small.

What a great location, but it could be so much nicer with just a few improvements. A tad more enthusiasm from the staff would be a starter. $19 for valet parking is a little much! And there is really no where else to park (you can not self park). The thing that really grossed me out was the extremely moldy air vent in the shower and all the peeling wall paper. My requested crib was a small pack and play that had seen better days. Restaurant is fair but a little bit of a tourist trap, food could be improved. But all in all it was nice but disappointing. It has the potential to be so much nicer! The only waterfront hotel in Annapolis!
Positives: LOCATION IS GREAT!
Negatives: Very moldy air vents in bathrooms, peeling wall paper.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting the Naval Academy. Unfortunately, we arrived after midnight and had to leave first thing in the morning so we really did not get to enjoy the hotel. It seemed to be a great location right on the water and walking distance to the shops/restaurants in Annapolis. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The only negative, as with many hotels in urban settings, was that they charge an extra fee for parking.
Positives: Close to Naval Academy.
Negatives: Fee for parking.

Hotel was great, parking was an issue.
Positives: Location, size of room.
Negatives: Lack of affordable parking.

Large, beautifully decorated room. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the waterfront room and view. Great restaurant and bar. Very friendly staff. Unbelievable location. Walked to shops, restaurants, Navy football game. Water taxis available to take you to other restaurants across the bridge. Loved it. Definitely going back.
Positives: Great location in the center of all the water activity and could walk anywhere including to a football game.
Negatives: I loved everything about it.
