We went there in 2011,2012 and will return this year for as many times as we can squeeze in. It is a beautiful, clean campground. The nicest people in the world run it and it is close to all of the beautiful place we like to visit, plus it is right on a river with a covered bridge within sight.

Positives: Clean, close to Rangeley and other beautiful lakes, nicest people in the world run it. Is on a clean river and I can almost guarantee you will see a moose or two! Mostly families and couples. The owners want it quiet by 10:00 and it always is.

Great place to go relax and get away from everything except the great outdoors.

Positives: Great location
lots to do: camping, hiking, canoe/kyaking, fishing, plenty of game to see and a lot of historical sites.

Very quiet, we had our choice of camping locations. Our host suggested we camp by the covered bridge. It was very nice. I wish we would have woken a few minutes earlier and seen the moose that walked through camp.

Positives: Very quiet, it has a river that runs right along the campground. We paddled our kayaks down the river and back up for a couple hours. The current is just right, so someone is average shape can paddle in both directions without needing a shuttle. The bathhouse was immaculate. Everything is very clean. They have firewood available for a reasonable price. We wanted to see moose, and we did. 9 in 2 days, and that was just in or along the road within a few miles of the campground.
