Shin Pond Village Campground and Cottages offers camping and RV style accommodations in Mount Chase.

Large and uncrowded to provide you with plenty of room to stretch and relax. The R.V. sites have water and electric hook-ups, picnic tables, fireplaces and a beautiful view of Mt. Chase. The tent sites, which are nestled in the woods, have picnic tables and fireplaces in a private setting. Some of our campers enjoy tent sites located on the brook that flows through the campground. Swim and fish right in front of your tent! Hiking trails on our property.

Additional details

Shin Pond Village is a family-operated recreational facility. We offer thirty campsites, seven housekeeping cottages and three guest suites. Our Main Building has a general store, gift shop, laundromat, the "Loon's Nest" guest area with satellite TV and a dining room. These conveniences are open from 7:30am to 9:00pm daily. Gas and oil are available. Located just fifteen miles from the Northern entrance to Baxter State Park, Shin Pond Village offers the summer visitor great fishing, uncrowded hiking adventures, plenty of wildlife and family fun in a peaceful, scenic setting. We offer canoe and kayak rentals for you to see moose in the Sawtelle Deadwater in the early morning.....
