I would say this was a very nice hotel. If I go back to New Orleans I would probably stay here again.

Positives: People were nice.

Negatives: Too far away from parking garage and check in was on second floor.

This is a good find and got a great bid on this hotel. Great location, nice facility, and overall very clean. We would stay at this hotel again.

Positives: Great location. Conveniently located next/within the Riverwalk which made shopping and eating easy.

Negatives: The facility is a little large and somewhat difficult to navigate at first. Once we found our room we didn't have any trouble.

Negatives: The person who checked us in told us our room was in Building 2 when it was really in Building 3; this was annoying after a long drive and especially after the long trek from the parking garage with our luggage (for which he did not offer to get us assistance in taking it to our room).
The pool in our building closed quite early. I am not sure if the pool in the main building closes as early or not. Room service also stops serving very early for New Orleans. Business/convention-oriented Hiltons in other cities offer room service until midnight or later; in a city where many guests likely return to their rooms late and perhaps a bit hungry, it would be nice to have the option of room service rather than finding another restaurant within easy walking distance (oddly, many of the restaurants immediately near the hotel stop service at 9 or 10). Parking garage is $34 a night. Have stayed in bigger cities/hotels with much cheaper parking. It is also quite a walk from the garage to the lobby and/or to guest rooms. Daily charge for Internet access from rooms. Positives: It's in New Orleans! Beds were comfortable. Located near 2 streetcar lines. Within walking distance of the Quarter for those who visit New Orleans solely (or mainly) for that. Views of the river from guest rooms and/or courtyards.

Positives: Comfortable beds; some courtyards (which close early) offer good views.

Negatives: Pool closed early; parking very far walk from guest rooms and overnight parking rate is ridiculous.

The hotel was comfortable, clean and centrally located by the banks of the Mississippi. Very good bedding and friendly service. We had a very comfortable stay and would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans.
Positives: The overall experience was very good. Friendly and helpful personnel and good service. Close to places of interest.

Negatives: The breakfast buffet did not reflect the quality and variety expected of the $19.99 price.

Hotel was great, only bad part was parking cost. Other cheaper places in area, but that's not happening. Parking at Harrah's next door was a lot cheaper, I seen that when walking around. In addition, you can validate the ticket at the casino.

Positives: Location, clean, staff was super nice, always security around. Drago's was awesome for price, quality, and service.

Negatives: Parking was expensive.

This hotel was very nice. Clean and in a great location. I think things clean and quite, I could hear people walking in the halls at times. The one major bad thing was the train that runs right next to the hotel. It came at 12am and 2am in the night and again the next morning around 6am. Very loud where my room was.

Positives: The bed where very nice and good location.

Negatives: The train run right next to the hotel during the night.

Top quality hotel, right near all of the best activities in New Orleans. Excellent staff and concierge was extremely helpful. Room service food and prompt delivery was the best of any hotel I have stayed in.

Positives: view of the city and the river was amazing.

Negatives: Nothing.

There was a lot of walking because they have a few different buildings that are all connected, but it was good. The rooms were great; clean and comfortable. The bad part was paying for parking in the parking garage which was about $20/day.
Positives: Location.

Negatives: Paying for parking.

Two thumbs up! Very clean room, helpful staff. Great location, very safe. Readily upgraded us to a two queen room compared to the original king only. A super enjoyable experience. Would recommend to anyone on business or pleasure trip.

Positives: Very clean, great helpful staff, excellent location.

Negatives: Nothing, one of the best I have stayed at on business or pleasure.

Very nice, centrally located - not in the heart of the French Quarter which is good and bad. Good because it's quiet, and easy to get out of the downtown area (we were visiting our daughter who lives in the uptown neighborhood, so we needed to be able to drive/park easily, which we could!). Bad because you have to walk a little ways to get to the French Quarter, and parking in the quarter is a nightmare. But, it's not too far, and it is right across from the Harrah's casino which we really enjoyed!
Positives: Efficient and clean. Comfortable beds.

Negatives: Lots of conferences made, it seem crowded getting through the lobby/shared spaces.

Great hotel, rooms were nice, great view, close to French Quarter and aquarium.

Positives: Proximity to the French Quarter.

Negatives: The carpeting in lobby areas was stained and worn.

Lots of walking and hard to figure out floor plan of hotel. Parking was charged $32 a night and valet was even more. Other than that the hotel was fairly central to local attractions and very clean.
Positives: Room had a great view of the Mississippi River.

Negatives: Parking was charged $32 per night.

The staff in hotel (porters specifically) are often not friendly.

Positives: Location, lobby/public facilities are very attractive.

Negatives: Room was noisy from neighbors (poor sound isolation), staff was not always helpful.

Very good location for walking to the French Quarter and the Warehouse District. Very clean and friendly.

Great place to stay. Nice, clean, large room in a beautiful location of new Orleans right next to everything.

Positives: Very comfortable bed, nice TV and shower.

Negatives: Line at check-in.

Nice hotel. Very close proximity to an excellent mall "Riverwalk" Close proximity to Harrah's. Food ($100 bucks for 5 burgers/5 cokes) and parking ($30 self and $36 valet) was astronomical.

Positives: Gorgeous property and close proximity to Riverwalk mall.

Negatives: Unknown taxes and fees before committing to purchase. Didn't like not knowing the parking rates before bidding.

Loved the stay at this hotel. The only complaint we have is that during our 2 day stay we spent $66 for parking. We know the New Orleans area well and drove to places, leaving the parking tower probably expensed us a little more than we expected. The facilities, staff, and atmosphere were great.

Positives: Location, overall atmosphere.

Negatives: Parking arrangement, general costs.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sat 17 Oct 2009 rated 9 out of 10.

Excellent location to all attractions. All amenities for business, pleasure and fantastic fitness facility.

Positives: Location, staff and the amenities.

Negatives: Not all shops/bars were open for business.
