The Marriott on the river is clean, comfortable, adequately decorated, and smoke-free, which is of primary importance to me. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Whether giving me a Riverview room or printing out driving instructions for my next destination, they were courteous and capable. I took the self-parking option, which was considerably cheaper than self-parking across the river in Cincinnati. Towels and room amenities were more than adequate. Under ordinary circumstances, I could not afford this hotel. I am glad for Priceline's services.

Positives: Clean, comfortable, fabulous view, cheaper parking than downtown Cincinnati, good location for Cincinnati attractions. Priceline made it affordable.

Negatives: Blackout curtains did not meet in center, allowing more light than comfortable for sleeping.

Overall the hotel was very enjoyable for our stay. I wish the room had a refrigerator and microwave. I had food left over from dinner and it would have been nice to have been able to heat it up.

Positives: I like the decor of the hotel and the convenience of the hotel restaurant.

Negatives: Paying $10 a night for parking and also for Internet access.

Great hotel for short stays. Parking is not free and neither is Internet. Rooms are size you would expect for a 15 floor hotel. Great view of Cincy from the river side of the hotel.

Positives: Outstanding front desk service, upscale bar setting (not a dance club).

Negatives: Pay to park outside the city, no free Internet.

This hotel was the epitomy of what Marriott wants its hotels to be. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating and the accomodations were superb.

Positives: This hotel couldn't have been any better---fantastic!

Negatives: Not one thing!

We love the Marriott due to location. The hotel is very clean and everyone was great except the hotel bar area.

Positives: The view was lovely. The desk clerks were extremely nice giving us a room w a view and helping us w a lost parking ticket at checkout.

Negatives: The personnel in the bar were extremely slow and seemed to be disengaged with some of the customers.

Very nice, great location. Only downside is you have to pay for parking and internet. I stayed in a $29.99 hotel and this was free.

Positives: Nice view, great location, and very clean.

Negatives: Had to pay for parking and internet.

The hotel itself is very nice. The staff were very pleasant. My one major problem is that the upon checking in, I was informed by the person checking us in, that I should bring my parking garage ticket to them for validation. I also saw a couple signs posted stating that the hotel would validate the parking garage ticket. I am 41 years old, and have been many different places that have validated parking for their customers. In every instance, that meant they took care of the parking fees for customers. I understood that to be the definition of validating your parking ticket. I didn't find out until checking out (two days later) that the Marriott's validation cost me $14 a day. If I had paid the parking garage directly, it would have cost me $8 a day. So I would have paid $16 total instead of $28. I questioned the parking attendant when I left, who grinned as he told me that the Marriott justifies this by stating that with their validation, you can go in and out with your car as many times as you want during the day, instead of paying hourly. I only took my car out one time during my stay, and the parking attendant again grinned while he stated it would have only cost me $16 had I just paid the garage directly. I enjoyed my stay with the exception of the intellectual dishonesty that the Marriott practiced. I have no problems paying for services I use, but the Marriott obviously tries to avoid disclosure of the parking situation, prior to your check out.

Positives: Nice hotel, good location.

Negatives: Intellectual dishonesty about the parking which costs $14/day. But they don't tell you that.

It was nice except not being able to get anything to drink and when I told them about it they acted like it was no big deal.

Positives: It was pretty and clean.

Negatives: The pop machines didn't work so

Met our expectations. The staff was super friendly. We could hear people in the hallway, but it was right after a Bengals game and there were a few rowdy people in the halls. Normally, I don't think you would be able to hear average guests.

Positives: Clean, and comfortable room. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Negatives: Toilet was very loud when refilling tank after a flush.

I was nervous about the quality of the hotel based on reviews I found on other wed sites. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly demeanor of staff and the trendiness of the facility- especially for the price. Overall, my family enjoyed their stay and found the hotel accommodating and friendly.

Positives: The staff were friendly and the space was lovely.

Negatives: The swimming area was loud and had too much chlorine.

Negatives: No comment.

The hotel was great, but the construction noise was not. They shouldn't have construction at 9am on a Saturday.

Positives: The gym was nice and the location was great.

Negatives: There was construction going on in the hotel, even at 9am on Saturday.

This hotel would have likely been lovely had it not been undergoing a major renovation during our stay. Nowhere was there any information regarding this - the concierge lounge was unavailable, one of the bars was unavailable - many areas were clearly under construction - very unfortunate that we had no idea until we arrived. The staff was however extremely friendly and helpful.

Positives: View and location

Negatives: Did not know it was under renovation and several features were unavailable.

Excellent, other than the cold room. In the hotel's defense, we did not call the desk to request assistance.

Negatives: Room was cold, could not turn heat up.
