The hotel was fine. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it was clean, and the staff was friendly. I thought the price was a little high for the area.

Older motel, but rooms are large and beds are comfortable. When dealing with the front desk, get it in writing.

What a pleasant and neat place to stay. Quiet peaceful, and quaint. Within blocks of great historical sites. Everything was done correctly. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Positives: Cleanliness and attitude of staff.
Negatives: Continental breakfast could be larger in selections.

The location and price are superb. Two easy blocks from downtown which is where the local restaurants (as opposed to chains) and shops are located. The book store was fascinating; the proprietor knowledgeable and helpful. The only problem we ran into was that everything closed down on Sunday and no shops were open after 5:30 on weekdays (restaurants were).
Positives: Everyone in the office was very pleasant and helpful. Being in a wheelchair, that is important.
Negatives: I'd like a walk-in shower with seat instead of a tub.
