I like the hotel, but the desk-help was terrible. Painful check in. The whole line came to a halt while she was on the phone. No ability to multi-task. Nearly 30 minutes to check in with only three people ahead of me. Training clearly not a priority as I have seen this particular woman before.

Positives: Comfortable beds and bedding.

Negatives: Painful check in. Very poor front desk help. Cannot multi-task. Took forever.

This hotel offered a great breakfast to start your day. Very convenient to fuel, fast food restaurants and shopping mall.

Positives: Check out was 12:00 noon.

Negatives: I had to wait for front desk service, no one was around.

Everything was fine includeing breakfast.However my TV chanel changer didn't work and i didn't find out until later.Noisey from the side they put me on next to the interstate.

This hotel was really nice. The hotel itself is new &amp; in good repair, the rooms are very comfortable &amp; clean, the staff friendly &amp; competent. Plus, the complementary breakfasts were terrific. They were just cold cereal &amp; frozen donuts. Although I didn't swim in the pool, from what I saw it appeared well-maintained &amp; clean. Great if you are traveling with the kiddos. There is also a very nice fitness center free of charge. Overall a very good stay.

The entire accommodations were very clean, and neat. Most of the staff went above and beyond our expectations to make sure everything was in order for all of their guests.

Positives: The accommodations were excellent. The room was very clean and neat.

Negatives: Upon our arrival the front desk person was not friendly, actually a little rude.

This was my favorite stop on my trip! I wished that I could stay there longer. There was easy access from the high way to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was amazing! The room was very comfortable and clean. A great experience.

Negatives: I really thought this was a great place to stay.

Overall I would recommend the hotel for staying at in West DesMoines it was conveniently located to a lot of different places. The rooms were clean.

Fantastic complementary breakfast with waffles and the staff were wonderful as well as the comfort of the bed and the great soft water for showers.

Positives: Behind Taco John's, which we love to eat at & the complimentary breakfast every morning.

The hotel was clean and extremely comfortable. They had nice amenities (coffee, ironing board/iron, etc.) Which made for a very convenient stay? It is a little farther away from drake university, however, worth the drive. Conveniently located just off the expressway. I will choose this hotel again when visiting my niece at drake.

Positives: Clean, convenient, reasonably priced, and comfortable.

Negatives: Nothing.

This is a very friendly, comfortable hotel to stay in. It's fairly new so everything is up to date. It's beautifully decorated, both in the public areas and the rooms. The beds are very comfortable, and there are plenty of pillows. A lovely hotel, I recommend highly.

Negatives: As it's close to the highway, there is highway noise.

Over all it is a great hotel, the pool is a bit chilly for young children but we do recommend it.

The front desk personnel was very professional and courteous, pointed out all the amenities and offered further assistance as needed. The hotel is quiet, located near Highway I-80, making its location very convenient. I especially appreciated the immaculately clean room. The Fairfield Inn offers a continental breakfast; there's not a great variety, but it was adequate and saved the time & expense of going out for breakfast. A big plus, guest controlled climate control. Overall, a very positive experience.

I was very pleased with the hotel over all and would go there again. The breakfast was very good and lots of choices, but they ran out of silverware and the trash cans were full to overflowing. The hotel was very clean.

This hotel is clean, spacious and comfortable. At the time of my stay the desk clerks were the most helpful and courteous of any hotel employees I had ever encountered. The hotel is set up so that everything is conveniently located. Breakfast was good and the employees kept it well-stocked.

Positives: The night staff was courteous and most helpful with all my questions.

Negatives: It's a little tricky to get to and I wish there would have been more TV channels available.
