Overall, this hotel was OK. It is close to my daughters school, so it was convenient. I do not smoke, and the hallway smelled like smoke. The room was OK, it was clean and did not smell too bad.
Positives: It was close to my daughters school, and the nicest for the price.
Negatives: The hallway smelled like smoke.

Clean but the carpet needs to be replaced as it looked worn. Staff was very friendly. Rooms aren't overly large but it was what I expected. It was cleaner than other Super 8 I have been in.
Positives: Location in Storm Lake.
Negatives: Not alot of room to eat breakfast.

Everything just fine, but had to make sure door was locked when I would leave, the latch stuck in the open position.
Positives: Good location.

The manager was not friendly when I asked for another room being the air was broke. It was 90 degrees and they were full so all they did is bring us a fan. We had to go out and buy an extension cord as they did not have one.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Air conditioning was broke. They did no fix.

We had a nice stay. The hotel was fine for the type of stay we needed. We were not in the room much, but when we were, accommodations were fine.
Positives: The location was close to the College (Buena Vista) Track Meet we attended.
Negatives: A better selection of breakfast items would be helpful.
