Available for rental to individuals, families or small groups, the Blue Heron is a comfortable, spacious single unit Bed & Bath. With a large living and dining area overlooking the Mississippi, two bedrooms, a cozy den with air bed and three bathrooms, it sleeps up to eleven guests comfortably. Perfect for family reunions and groups of friends. The Inn, located in the quaint small town of Lansing, nestled below the river bluffs of Iowa's "Little Switzerland" and bordering Wisconsin and Minnesota, promises a peaceful escape from the daily grind. Wake up to the sounds of the river just outside your private balcony, enjoy a canoe ride in the quiet sloughs of the upper Mississippi wildlife refuge, or stroll down Main Street browsing shops, galleries and even an old fashioned ice cream parlor. With your own dock you can enjoy fishing and boating activities.
