This hotel was fairly new, very clean with nice size rooms. The breakfast was very good with a lot of selection. Close to the highway, convenient to the college. Pizza place delivers to it. One drawback - it was very noisy even though it was not that busy. Very thin walls - you could hear your neighbors all around and from the second floor - including their TV, their conversations and their bathroom visits. Too noisy for me.
Positives: Clean, nice breakfast, good size rooms.
Negatives: Noisy - paper thin walls, you could hear everything around you and from the second floor.

Grinnell is a small sleepy town near des mines. However the staff at the country inn and suites provided a nice small town feel to my stay. I felt like I was staying with family rather than staying at a hotel and they recommend to great places to eat nearby.
Positives: The staff was friendly and attentive.
Negatives: Jacuzzi was a little on the cold side.

The hotel was clean and welcoming. No elevator. Not a great choice for older people if ground floor rooms are full.
Positives: It was clean and warm. Nice and clean. Easy access from the highway.
Negatives: Had to take room that was offered. Was a smoking room, neither of us smoke? Smell was not too bad. Price was a little high.

This hotel is easily located just off the Interstate and the town has several things to offer its guests. Clean rooms with plenty of room.
Positives: Staff was friendly. Breakfast room was kept neat and clean.
Negatives: Could hear noise from people in the rooms above.
