Very nice three-star hotel. Should NOT be rated with downtown hotels as the location is far away. Great place to stay if you do not want to walk downtown Iowa City.

Positives: New! very nice!

Negatives: Location to downtown / drinks are exspensive.

Clean, all the staff went above and beyond service. The shuttle service was superior, took us downtown to the Pedestrian mall and to the hospital and to the shopping mall. The shuttle was very prompt on coming and picking us up when we called to come back to the hotel.

Positives: Shuttle service and the above and beyond attitude of the employees.

Negatives: I found nothing I didn't like.

Positives: It had a library with real books in it.

Newer hotel with very attractive rooms. The view out the back was beautiful with a lagoon right off the river with a brick courtyard. Our room was across from the ice machine, which people insisted on using with the door open, which was loud. There is a door on the ice room for a reason people. I still can't believe that they charge for parking at this hotel. This is Iowa!

Positives: Nice view, clean and

Negatives: Charged for parking.

I was surprised by the $8.00 per day charge for parking. I know taxes are always going to be an additionally part of a bill. However, I didn't appreciate not knowing about this charge. I don't know if this is an industry standard for the better motels.

Positives: Quality and amenities were excellent.

Negatives: $8.00 charge per day for parking.

This place was just beautiful. So clean it looked like it had opened yesterday. The decor was spectacular and the rooms beautiful and comfortable. I could not get over how comfortable the beds were. Down pillows and down comforter, too. All staff I spoke to were very nice. I am anxious to return.

Positives: The beds! Like sleeping on clouds!

Negatives: Pay for parking.

Pros:Clean room, comfortable inviting bed with amazing pillows. Better than average bathroom products. Cons:Since hotel has undeveloped surroundings, parking should be free. Woman next to gentleman checking us in should be trained a bit longer.

Positives: Cleanliness and bed comfort.

Negatives: Woman at check-in desk looked at me top to bottom without discretion. I was wearing jeans, but otherwise not disheveled or sloppy.
