Staff was friendly and courteous, but the air-conditioning in our room did not work and we had our 7 year old and 6 week old daughters with us. They made several attempt to fix the AC, but did not offer us another room until I asked for one the next day. Definitely put a damper on the trip.

Negatives: Air-conditioning did not work.

Unique atrium, some parts of the hotel are dated, but upgrades were being done on the second floor.

Positives: Large parking area, large open atrium.

Definitely the place to stay in Cedar Rapids - a beautiful, comfortable hotel. I'm always thrilled when I win this in a bid.

Clean, upscale, a great bargain for the price we paid. Would definitely stay there again.

Clean comfortable hotel close to Rockwell. Nice atrium layout. Very overpriced restaurant - they'd make a lot more money if their prices weren't so ridiculous - it's almost always empty. Some wear and tear is beginning to show but overall it's a good hotel to stay at.

Every thing was nice. The rooms weren't as upscale as the loby and public spaces of the hotel. There wasn't a fridge or microwave in the room. I had to fill up the sink with ice- as I travel with a toddler who wants snacks and drinks now! He still drinks his milk warmed up- and threw a fit that he had to have cold milk!

Positives: Very classy!

Negatives: No room micorwaves or refrigerators in rooms, bad for travel with kids!

This hotel has a nice business room with computers and internet. The pool was nice. The lobby was pleasant and open which is nice for kids to walk around.

Positives: It was very clean and pleasant. I enjoyed the location as well as it was close to eating and shopping. It was an excellent price.

Negatives: It did not reflect 3.5 stars because the bathtub wasn't nice and the mirror was all broken. water pressure wasn't very good.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, excellent staff. While the hotel is well maintained, the decor is a bit dated and could use a redo. Nonetheless, it very well may be the best hotel option in Cedar Rapids.

Positives: Clean, nice rooms, friendly staff, would recommend for cedar rapids travelers.

Negatives: A little bit dated, but well maintained for an older hotel.

It was a great stay. I had a room with 2 beds. The one I was going to sleep in initially has super wrinkled sheets. It looked like it was used and the bedding was not changed. Other bed was fine.

Positives: Nice staff /convenient location.

Negatives: Pool shower needed repair. One of the 2 beds did not look clean.

I would stay at this hotel again only if I could check out the mattress. Other than the uncomfortable mattress the hotel get a 9.0 rating from me.

Positives: It was very clean and decorated beautifully.

Negatives: The mattress was hard and was only about six inches thick we both woke up with back aches.

Good hotel, good location off of I-380.

Positives: The soaps and shampoos were great quality, comfortable bed too.

The staff. When you walk through the door, the hotel is very appealing and luxurious. Rooms were very comfortable and the bed was awesome

The tile around the pool is very inappropriate for a wet area. I witnessed 4 people who fell. I am surprised they haven't had legal problems.

The hotel is located in a nice area, close to shopping and relatively close to interstate access. This is the nicest hotel in town.

We were very pleased with the quality of this hotel and would stay here again. Room service was very fast (and good), and they provided us with extra coffee with a smile. No complaints.

The hotel lives up to its name. If given a choice between this hotel and other of its star quality, I will stay at the other. I hate to pay for internet and as a business traveler I need to have it available other than in the lobby.
