The rooms were clean and well appointed. Great Interior design. The staff is friendly although-Valet service was slow communication was lost a few times.

Positives: Location, decor, cleanliness.

Negatives: Valet was less than desired for $27.00 per day.

This is a perfect hotel in regards to location to local attractions and the Amtrak/greyhound. Most of the staff is super helpful and friendly, however, when checking in I sensed an unfriendly attitude when the clerk observed.<BR/> The food in the restaurant is top quality and worth the extra money they charge. There are many of restaurants surrounding the hotel in walking distance if you are looking for something cheaper. a rental car company is only 2 blocks away.

Negatives: The room had a very strong cigar/smoke odor-I was told it came from a lounge down below the rooms.

Perfect place to stay if you are doing something in the downtown area. Great rates for a very nice room.

The hotel is very nicely appointed and well-situated in a downtown setting. Restaurants on property are excellent and professionally staffed. Overall, the Omni is a great place to stay.

Staff did not try to accommodate our request for a king bed. Instead it was a double bed which was to small for my husband and I. Did not received a good nights rest. There was also some loud screaming in the hallway in the middle of night. Have stayed at Omni before and would give them a try again.

We booked this hotel for a surprise night downtown for the kids! They loved the pool, the little backpack of goodies, and the milk and cookies. However, we had to ask for our cookies and the staff made my husband wait about five minutes while they were talking on the phone about Christmas deals at The Finish Line. Obviously, not a business call. Overall, we liked the hotel and would stay again!

Positives: I really liked the room and the beautiful lobby.

Negatives: The staff didn't seem very excited and helpful.

I was given a beautiful room on the 4th floor with a very large bed and the bathroom was clean and very nice. The checkout was very friendly and accommodating. I would love to stay longer on my next trip.

The hotel was nice overall. The room was nice, view was expected, bed was hard, pillows were hard. The bathroom was clean but dated, the tub was tiny and the shower was cramped.

We enjoy staying in Downtown Indy when we travel East. This hotel was above average in decor, but lacked the over the top feel of some locations. The overpass connection to the City centre mall was very convenient, and saved us a walk through the rain.

Negatives: Lavatory had an industrial feel.

Perfect location. We've stayed same weekend every year for past 7 years between downtown Marriott and Westin. By far, this hotel was best! Rooms were well groomed and in perfect shape for age of hotel.

Positives: The rooms were clean, well maintained and the lobby was beautiful. Bartender was excellent. I hope to get this hotel again next year.

The old design of the Omni gives the hotel character. At the same time, the old design is also responsible for small bathrooms and someone cramped quarters. The tub and shower seemed old just because it is doesn't mean that they should look worn. New fixtures could give a new and cleaner look to these rooms. The staff was pleasant and check in and check out were really simple and fast. I'd probably stay there again as long as the price was right. Otherwise I might go with an updated hotel.

Very friendly staff except valet service was not good. Lost the key to our car and then could not find the car had to wait 30 minutes for them to get our car and we had a 7 hour ride home.

Unmarked rise in hallway causing myself to trip. No pass key needed to return to hotel from mall walk area. Train noises could be heard through out the night, I was on the 11th floor.

The room was nice although I've stayed at other hotels that had much nicer extras (linens/towels/TVs/etc.) I was disappointed that the room had two double beds instead of two queen beds.
