This hotel needs to compare to the Hilton which is nearby.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: The hotel did not feel luxurious.

The hotel suited our needs to be close to the Lucas Oil Stadium. We were too late to eat breakfast at Don Shular's Steakhouse and surprised there was not a restaurant. The floor, 4th we were on, was loud. The doors slammed loudly when people were coming and going. The view was not good from the room but we were not planning to be in the room for long. The bathroom was cramped and you had to back over the toilet to open and close the door.

Positives: Proximity to Lucas Oil Stadium.

Negatives: View from room was horrible, but tolerable. Could not find my Westin points number in the computer.

Second time to visit this hotel. In fact, I bought three rooms this time and took my employees and their spouses. I am not happy about paying for the internet. Especially when I had a verizon card and didn't need to pay for internet. It was not clear that I was being charged for the internet until I got the bill.

Positives: Great location.

Negatives: Had to pay for internet usage.

The room at this hotel was definitely not acceptable for a hotel of this caliber. There was no counter space in the bathroom and the room itelf had no room to move around in. The beds were very worn. The hotel room was in dire need of an update/remodel.

Positives: Great location, nice lobby & common area.

Negatives: Small rooms, bad beds.

Booked a room close to football stadium to save on having to pay for parking. Hotel charge me two days parking for $60.00.

Positives: Good location.

Negatives: $30 parking.

The Westin Indianapolis was a very nice looking hotel, however, the rude and unfriendly staff made the experience not a pleasant one. They apparently overbooked rooms and did not have the housekeeping staff to handle the amount of new reservations.

Positives: The hotel was close to Lucas Oil Stadium.

Negatives: The hotel staff was not friendly and the room was not ready at check in time.

It was great! The beds were nice, attractive and clean. Offered coupon if you went &quot;green&quot;

Positives: Very convenient to where I wanted to be. Gave coupon for going green.

Negatives: Restaurant was expensive, but about what you would expect with this type hotel.

They had a big sign as you pulled into there lot and it said valet $30 for over night. We were told we had to give our keys to the valet to be able to even enter the hotel. So with one of us staying with the car and the other checking in they told us that the valet was going to be $35 for overnight or our other option was to park the car ourselves for $25 across the street. And it was not like the desk clerk was rude but she made sure you felt like you were wasting her time trying to check in. The room given to us was really small and you had to be careful not to touch anything because there were quite a few items on sensors that would then charge you an outrageous fee because they thought you would have used there items. The sheets were very rough almost like sleeping on a sand paper. The mattress was very uneven like the springs in it had been broken.

Positives: Was in downtown so in a good area.

Negatives: Reminded me of a cheap motel by charging for every last item and not really offering much of anything without a huge dollar sign on it.

Although rated 4 stars, we have stayed in roadside motels with better accommodations, cleaner rooms, and friendlier staff. The room was shabby and dusty. Staff didn't apologize when we complained or checked out early. There were no fitted sheets, the fan didn't work, we couldn't use the mini-fridge or coffee pot without being charged. Also, they charge for internet use.

Positives: Location

Negatives: Unfriendly, condescending staff; shabby room, no free parking, snack bar traps.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 30 Mar 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

The heart of downtown, it was very nice.

Positives: Nice workout room, and the room was very nice.

Negatives: Fridge was filled with food on a weight system so you couldn't use it.

Overall a great deal for the price, even though certain areas of our room looked a little well-used.

Positives: Great location, nice lobby.

Negatives: Quality of bedding not what we remember - there were holes in our sheets.

The hotel is in a very good location in downtown Indy. We chose to self park and it was $25, so I'm sure valet is even more. The lobby is nice, not gorgeous. The staff was nice and accommodating. We'd booked a King room, they were &quot;out&quot; when we checked in, but they made up for it by giving us a room with a gorgeous view. Shampoo+Conditioner are White Tea+Aloe, very good. The bed+bedding were very comfortable. And the shower was spectacular!

Positives: Shula's Steakhouse was spectacular! The dual showerhead was great. Great view.

Negatives: $25 self parking. $10 internet access. Internet should be free with your stay.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 23 Nov 2009 rated 10 out of 10.

Nice, clean and<BR/>comfortable. I would not say it was gorgeous in the room, just more roomy than a standard hotel. It was pleasant.

Positives: Staff very courteous and friendly.

Negatives: Rather plain in the rooms. Spacious, but not luxurious at all.

The Westin is a great hotel to stay at. It is connected with downtown shopping mall. No need to walk outside. However, due to the One-Way roads it can be a challenge to actually make it to the hotel. Also, the outlet in the bathroom would not keep whatever was plugged in, plugged into it.

Positives: Always clean and very classy.

Negatives: Hard to get to hotel and the bathroom outlets were useless.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 22 Sep 2009 rated 7 out of 10.

The heavenly beds were comfy but the duvet was too warm. No blankets available so either it was too hot or too cold. This West in seemed older &amp; not as upscale as others I've stayed in. The lounge was nice. The room was OK, but the amenities were very few. I would only stay here again if the price were very good.

Positives: The lobby was very attractive, the beds were comfy.

Negatives: The parking is expensive.

I loved my stay at this hotel. From the moment we stepped foot in the hotel, we felt like we were the most important guest there. All of the employees were very helpful and knowledgeable. The man at the front desk really made sure we felt welcome. The heavenly bed was just that. Heavenly. We did not want to even get out of bed in the morning. The hotel was in a pretty good location. It was just a short walk from the circle downtown. It was close to restaurants as well. We definitely would stay here again.

Positives: The Heavenly bed was so comfortable that I did not want to get out of bed in the morning.

Negatives: I cannot think of anything that I did not like about this hotel.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 30 Apr 2009 rated 9 out of 10.

Great staff, great hotel. Clean, friendly. Would definitely stay there again!

Positives: Location to downtown.

Negatives: Would have liked king size bed instead of 2 doubles.
