I was told there was food/drinks on the club floor. veg. platter does not constitute food and there was nothing more offered than coffee. Valet parking is 18$ and the self parking, on weekends, is tuber easy. save the 18$ for the cheese factory. high note. when going to cheese factory ask front desk for managers card. when we arrived we waited, maybe 3" and were seated. there were many many waiting.

I called their front desk to confirm a late check-in. After it rang ten times, I hung up and called the reservations department. They were rude. They would not note my account for a late check-in because "my room was already guaranteed for late arrival." I called back the next day and spoke to someone at the front desk. I voiced my concern that I have had it happen in the past where I arrive late and there are no rooms available. They said they would note my reservation for a late check-in. When I arrived they said that they didn't have any rooms because of mechanical failure. I know that is just a lie to cover that they overbooked the hotel. I was also given the hotel manager's name and number and the operation's manager's name and phone number. I've left voicemails for both and have yet to hear back from anyone at the hotel.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Gave away room even though I called three times to confirm a late check-in.

Very nice Hotel.
Positives: Fresh cut flowers in common areas, convenient parking, and friendly staff.
Negatives: Did not replenish towels on second day, did not replenish tea, I don't like Tazo tea brand.

This hotel is perfectly situated at the mall. It was nice and quiet. It even has a floor just for Starwood preferred. I had to change rooms after my sheets were dirty, but I got a new one relatively quickly and it was clean. I was at the hotel for a 1/2 marathon and knew I would need breakfast (oatmeal) at 5 am before service was available. When I asked about a microwave the night before they brought one up. My one issue was that in the morning they could not give me a bowl or spoon. Apparently, the manager has no access (right..). She was not apologetic nor did she offer to look. I had to fashion a spoon from a broken plastic cup which was not fun. This manager was not helpful or friendly, but others that I interacted with were great.
Positives: The room was classic with a nice couch area.
Negatives: I could not get a bowl and spoon in the morning.

Very comfortable stay. Very clean and modern rooms. It was attached to a mall, great location, with several restaurants in walking distance.
Positives: Very clean, smelled clean. Very modern and update.
Negatives: The pool room was very hot and humid, there were only like 6 chairs at the pool, had to sit on wet tile.

Hotel is currently under a massive renovation. As such hotel put us up in a suite on the older tower, which was nice with view and room, but hard to access parking and some features closed. Excellent restaurants and shopping nearby. If looking for a getaway weekend or here for business, area is a great choice. New remodeled rooms will be sure to be a huge plus when done. More modern amenities would have topped the stay we had.
Positives: Good views of nearby areas.
Negatives: Under huge renovation, many things closed or inaccessible. Will be nice w done.

This hotel served our needs. The room was spacious and clean. The room was quiet until a very disturbing loud noise occurred in the heating system.
Positives: Water was available as a courtesy. Towels and linens were excellent.
Negatives: The hotel is under major renovations. The hallways and the elevator could have been cleaner.

The hotel was in the process of updating guest rooms, which is much needed. Many features of the room were outdated (e.g., old tube TVs, outdated decor, poor lighting) . However, the room was nice with the lower level being a sitting and work area and the upstairs a bedroom.1.5 baths was nice. I was a little disappointed that a local calls were not free. There was a refrigerator in the room and the coffee was good (Starbucks). Overall it was a good value.
Positives: At check in we were offered a free upgrade to a two level suite with a great, albeit distant, view of downtown Indianapolis.
Negatives: They are in the process of renovating guest rooms. Our room was definitely in need with small tube TVs and an area of peeling wallpaper.

Overall very nice.
Positives: Was upgraded to a suite that was very roomy and nice.
Negatives: I know they were renovating but need more signs on where to go plus pool was freezing and whirlpool was out of order.

This was not a typical Sheraton experience. The hotel was in disarray, and the first room assigned was completely unacceptable. We were moved to a newer remodeled room, which was OK except there is no free Wi-FI in the room. The trip to the 1st floor for free Wi-FI took 20 minutes to navigate. The hotels is under construction, so elevators didn't always work and re-routing signs were inadequate.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: No free Wi-Fi in the room, construction everywhere, inconvenient path to lobby.

In the middle of constuction. It will be great when completed.
Positives: Very nice hotel.
Negatives: It is all ripped up right now.

Conveniently attached to a shopping mall.
Positives: It was located in an area that provided many dining & shopping options.
Negatives: The main lobby was under constructions.

I despised this hotel. The staff was no where near friendly, the room was run down, and the beds were terribly lumpy. My boyfriend and I both woke up with sore backs. Everything from the elevators to the bathrooms were outdated. I advise all...do not stay here!
Positives: I did not like this hotel in the slightest bit.
Negatives: It was said to be a 4 and a half star hotel. Beds were lumpy, room was outdated, and halls were dirty.

When we arrived at this hotel, there was no one outside to valet park. We waited and after we got our bags out and were standing around trying to figure out what to do, the valet parking attendant came out and asked if we wanted to valet park and then while eating food, he proceeded to write our name down and give us a piece of paper. We proceeded in to the check in, the place was packed, some special event was going on. The elevators were slow and the temperature in the hotel was very warm. We got to our room and it smelled so strong of chlorine that it was burning my eyes.
Positives: The bed was comfortable. Good location.
Negatives: Unclean rooms, smelled strong of chlorine, bad room service, bad staff, bad parking, everything was bad...

Clean, but a bit shabby. Bed was poorly made, sheets were loose and blanket was ill-fitting. Upholstery on chairs and couch had snags. No microwave.
Positives: Location
Negatives: Noisy heater, hallway noise (and we were at end of hall).

Hotel could definitely stand to be updated.
Positives: Location as I was on a shopping trip.
Negatives: Needs to be updated.

I
would not suggest to anyone to use this hotel.
I was very disappointed in the condition of the rooms. Very unhappy that dirty glasses were not replaced. My husband referred to it as the pits. This is certainly not what
I expected.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Everything needed to be refreshed - cheap tissue and toilet paper.

In my previous trip to the Carmel area of Indianapolis, I stayed at a cheap hotel (2 star) and was pleased. Free internet and free hot breakfast. This hotel however, being a 3 and a half star hotel I expected an upgrade from my 2 star experience before. That was not the case. They charged 10$ per day for internet, breakfast was extremely overpriced and needless to say I had to pay more for getting less. I was not happy with the Sheraton at all.
Positives: Location was close to my business meeting.
Negatives: Charged for Internet in the room. No continental breakfast was available.

Upscale until I entered my room; very low-scale room.
Positives: Public areas were very nice.
Negatives: Room was badly stained, even the carpet was stained; broken lamp; loose bathroom fixtures.

It is a nice hotel. The suite section is much nicer than the non-suite tower.
Positives: The lobby was great.
Negatives: The hallways needed an updating.

Good safe locations. Rooms need renovated, very old scratched furniture, tub stained and carpet was old.
Positives: Great location for shoppers - connects to mall.
Negatives: Room was dated - old furniture, old carpets and old bathroom.

The rooms smell, the carpet was torn and some of the elevators were not working.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: The room. Rooms set aside for customer are the absolute worst kept at the hotel.

Pretty lobby with easy parking for check-in, professional service at the front desk, asked for a room with a view of the downtown fireworks and was giving a great room upgrade! Corner room with a 270 degree view of Indianapolis. Room had a marble top wet bar with good size fridge. Ice maker was not working on our floor so had to pop down to the next- no big deal. Hotel was not busy so we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.
Positives: Upgrade
Negatives: Ice maker was out of order on our floor.

Okay for an overnight stay. Don't be in a hurry as we waited at least 15-30 minutes for the elevators to be empty enough for people to move around.
Positives: The room was clean and pleasantly decorated.
Negatives: The hallways were in poor shape and the elevator's were a real issue.

I like the hotel, the decor was nice and inviting, but the rooms were not all that clean, and the hotel is beginning to be dated. Ripped carpet in room & hallways, beat up elevator, peeling wall paper. We enjoyed our stay, and the staff was great, just a little disappointed in the hotel itself.
Positives: Courteous staff.
Negatives: Room was not ready at check in, room not overly clean, outdated.

Pretty good stay overall, but this was the first night my wife and I were away from our newborn daughter. We were looking forward to a good night's sleep and not being awakened by a baby. Unfortunately our room had a heater issue. Every time the heater kicked on it made a horrible noise. We had a horrible night sleep which was frustrating and when I told the lady at the front desk she simply said they were working on renovations to address that issue. I was hoping for more, but maybe I didn't voice my frustration well enough. We survived but it was a noisy and interrupted night of sleep.

Positives: They upgraded us to a corner suite with a great view.
Negatives: Not as clean or updated as I would have hoped.

I was generally happy with this hotel and would stay there again. The location has direct access to a very upscale shopping center.
Positives: Convenient and secure.
Negatives: Limited room service and restaurant menu.

I expected more, while the room was nice and spacious there were several articles of trash in the room, one receipt we found was more than a month old. It's absolutely ridiculous to charge for Internet service, nearly every "cheap" motel offers this at no charge. As insult to injury there was no wireless service available.
Positives: Lobby area was nice, proximity to mall was great.
Negatives: No wireless Internet, Internet fee, ridiculous room service cost, very thin walls.
Reviewer: Not provided on Sun 22 Nov 2009 rated 5 out of 10.
Carpet worn in room. All furniture in room old, scratched.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Needs to be remodeled.
Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 07 Oct 2009 rated 6 out of 10.
The hotel has an excellent location. The lobby and other areas looked nice and clean. The rooms smelled musty and are in need of a remodeling.
Positives: Great location.
Negatives: Rooms need to be up dated and freshed.
