I really enjoyed and loved this place about 2 years ago, since then, the carpet was really dirty and there was obvious previous water leakage in the bathrooms that left the walls swollen and dirty looking, shower stalls were kinda dirty looking also. I am willing to come back again, but this time will complain if the room looks like it did.
Positives: Its location and amenities.
Negatives: The carpet was filthy and showers didn't look very clean.

The Waikoloa Colony Villas were one of the best hotel deals I've had in a long time. The condo was dual level with 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and the master bathroom was big enough to play tennis in! I was amazed at how quiet the rooms and neighborhood was (even though some people were not very quiet, the villas were!). With the full kitchen we saved a lot of money by not eating out & the Villas are about a half hour walk away from "A-bay", which is one of the nicest beaches on the Kohala coast of the big island. For a cheaper price than a basic room at the nearby resort hotels (which only have small 2 bed rooms at best), you should definitely stay here!
Positives: Two bedroom condo with full kitchen, clean and comfortable.
Negatives: No major complaints. Small complaint - not enough kitchen utensils/basics.
