If you want to be pampered and/or waited on this is not the place for you. These are condos not hotel rooms so you will not have room service, etc. On-site you will have a front desk and concierge to assist you. My most important requirement was getting a good value for the money. We stayed in #536 (ocean front) and it was wonderful. The facility is well-maintained. Most importantly, the beach is sandy (w/a few rocks/coral here and there). If you have younger children this is a "calmer" beach for them to swim in. The undertoe is not strong here either. In the afternoon the trade winds really pick up .

Positives: Great value for money.

Negatives: Other than the sandwich, not a lot of restaurants close by.

Starting at OGG - Kahului Airport Directions from the airport - 15 miles - 30 minutes. As you exit the terminal you will be on Keolani place - hwy 380. Continue onto Kuihelani hwy - also hwy 380. You will reach an intersection at Puunene Avenue turn left onto Mokulele hwy - Hwy 350. As a land mark you will see King-s Cathedral church - large church with blue roof. Continue driving on hwy 350. As you pass the Puunene sugar mill -HC and S- Mokulele hwy will change to hwy 300. Keep through the sugar fields till you get to a four way intersection. You are now in Kihei town. At that stop light turn right onto N. Kihei road - Hwy 310. Sugar Beach Resort will be located within a quarter of mile on the left hand side of the street. The street address is 145 N. Kihei Road.
