The hotel was clean, beautiful view of ocean, staff very friendly and helpful. Ryan, the manager, was especially friendly and helpful. Our stay ended with a beautiful limo ride to the airport.
Positives: Clean room, view of ocean, close to stores.
Negatives: Truck noise by hotel late at night and early morning.

My husband and I were very pleased with the comfort, cleanliness, and location of this hotel. We especially liked the idea of having a room safe (included) to lock up valuables.
Positives: We won drawing to return, but would return anyway. Very clean, comfortable, and convenient.
Negatives: The lobby was not set up like a lobby nor conducive to comfort.

The location was great and I enjoyed the smaller feel of the hotel. The staff was very smart and helpful with great communication skills between visitors and other staff. Beautifully decorated in all areas. Housekeeping was very friendly and happy. Mountain-view rooms have a nice view but the lanais are terribly small so we switched to an ocean view. The staff was great in this switch and upgraded us nicely. It was a great decision! Very nice views of the ocean and a great deck. Really saved the remainder of our visit. With a younger child you wind up in the room more than you might otherwise and it is nice to be able to still be outside. Good central location as we did not rent a car and were able to walk to a lot of places. There is a lot of construction in Waikiki right now, so that is disturbing noise wise but it doesn't matter what hotel you stay at.
Positives: Close to beach, excellent staff, great ocean views, centrally located.
Negatives: Mountain view lanais, smallish rooms, small beds.

One word. Underwhelming. I have nothing good to say about this hotel. The pictures online are very deceiving. The room is tiny, and with zero amenities, unless you count the standard coffee pot. It's as if they think that plain and boring is artsy.
Positives: The bed was comfortable.
Negatives: Everything else. Never paid so much for so little.

The staff was friendly, they don't offer a military discount, have nice lobby, room was small, and not the romantic setting as promised. When it said on the beach with ocean view, didn't say other buildings in the way of the view. It was close enough to restaurants that we could walk to them. That was nice. But this was supposed to be our honeymoon night that we never got and it didn't feel special or romantic at all.
Positives: It had a nice lobby.
Negatives: For the amount we paid, would have expected more, a Jacuzzi tub or something.
