It was clean and attractive, and the staff was obviously trying hard to please. It was virtually deserted on a Friday night.
Positives: The beds were clean, comfortable, and inviting.
Negatives: They had advertised complimentary breakfast on their web site, and it was not complimentary.

We thought this hotel was perfect for our weekend. Loved the spaciousness of our suite. Loved the bed. Very pleased that it had 2 tvs. We would definitely chose this hotel again.
Positives: The room was fabulous. It was a suite and was very spacious. Bed was so comfortable.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel as a hub for areas we were visiting: Longwood Gardens, Winterthur, and Philadelphia. Easy in and out onto routes 95 and 52. The accommodations, especially the bedding, were very comfortable, there was Starbucks coffee in the room, and it was convenient to have a refrigerator and microwave. While we never felt unsafe in any way, the added security of having to use your keycard in the elevator was good, but it will take getting used to. We parked on the street for free, and there was no problem with that. The desk staff was very helpful; we added a night to our stay and it looked as though we would have to change rooms because the hotel was booked, but they made arrangements so that we wouldn't have to. Very appreciated. All in all, we were happy with the hotel.
Positives: Bedding was lush and comfortable - lots of pillows.
Negatives: While I liked the security of using my keycard to operate the elevator, it didn't always work efficiently.

The hotel was very nice and the rooms were very large, however, I was charged an extra<BR/>by the hotel and I am very disappointed by that.
Positives: The rooms were large.
Negatives: They charged me for the night separately from what I paid.

Helpful staff in large, well equipped room. Comfortable bed. Bathroom had some broken & loose tiles, mold in grout and uncomfortable chair & sofa. Entry into hotel was very difficult at night. Signage to use side door which could not be found. Drove around repeatedly with multiple one-way streets making long loop. Finally found entry through a door marked Enterprise car rental - no indication it was night entry to Sheeraton Suites.
Positives: Large room and a nice staff.
Negatives: Horrible signage, circled block repeatedly to find door as late arrival and front door closed! Uncomfortable chair & sofa.

Overall, this was a really nice hotel. However, I would not return here, there wasn't too much to offer in the area.
Positives: I liked that there were two separate rooms (bedroom, living room).
Negatives: The location and the restaurants available after 9pm.

The hotel itself is beautiful. We loved the lobby and the room. The front desk staff was professional and knowledgeable. The hotel's immediate location seems safe but a walk just a few blocks away will have you moving your wallet to your side pocket or clutching your purse a little more tightly! Also, the parking garage is a bit of a problem. There's not enough light and the parking spaces are way too narrow. I wasn't thrilled about having to pay $16 extra for parking for our one night stay.
Positives: The room was beautifully appointed.
Negatives: The parking garage is dimly lit with very narrow parking spaces.

For a family that does not travel often, we were very pleased with the accommodations. I actually wish we could have spent more time in the room but we were visiting family. The location was perfect for us and we found the city rather inviting. We would definitely stay here again.
Positives: My husband was so pleased with the coffee in the room. Not only the convenience but the quality of it as well. The kids and I loved the beds.
Negatives: Lack of parking. We were unable to park in the garage on our second night and took a chance parking on street.

The room was spacious and nicely decorated, and the price was very reasonable. My only complaint about the hotel is its parking garage, which was horrid. The spaces were all 2-3" too narrow for even compact cars, making door dings, scrapes & dents a complete inevitability. Every single wall & pillar in the entire garage was covered with paint scrapes from people's attempts at maneuvering. And on top of all that, they charge you $12 per night to park there.
Positives: Very large two-room suite.
Negatives: Absolutely the worst parking garage I've ever seen.

The pool was closed, parking was outrageous given that it's Wilmington, DE, we had to call (numerous times) for coffee for our room. There was a fire alarm during our stay and we walked down 16 flights of stairs with two kids, the toiletries were not replaced. Do you really want more.
Positives: Front desk personnel were friendly.
Negatives: It was under renovation.

I have stayed at the Sheraton Hotel in Wilmington, Delaware three times in the last month. I found the staff at the front counter friendly. They were helpful with information about the city and where things could be found. I only had two things that were a bit of a bother. The parking at the hotel is very difficult to find and it was $17.00 a day. The other thing is that the pool wasn't available all three times I have stayed. I have small childrens and there is nothing for them at the hotel.
Positives: I liked the views of the city on the top floor.
Negatives: The parking is under the hotel and very difficult to find.

Rooms clean, Staff friendly. Was not informed ahead of time that renovations were being done at restaurant and fitness center. Was not advised that parking was additional at $17.00 a day. Not happy with that.
Positives: Room was lovely, clean, Staff very friendly.
Negatives: Restaurant & Gym under construction had to pay additional for parking.
Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 02 Jun 2008 rated 5 out of 10.
Wait for the construction to be finished.
Positives: Staff was pleasant.
Negatives: They charged my card, promised to send me a receipt showing it was taken off, I am still waiting.

I was very surprised how much I loved my stay. Good rate for an excellent hotel room. I just wish that room service and the restaurant had been available. Luckily- I bought my dinner before I got there and was able to heat it in the mini kitchen. Also, the prices for food at the hotel are super expensive anyway. So my little retreat in my hotel was the best thing about my trip. Just bring your own take-out and a bottle of wine, and then you're set. Oh, and don't try to check in early. Won't happen. But my room was spotless, worth the wait.
Positives: The rooms was spacious, clean with lots of amenities- 2 cable TVs, games, refrigerators, excellent bed, personalized air & heat, microwave, AWESOME.
Negatives: Still under construction, no room service even though they said there was any info on how to get around town in the lobby.

Undergoing renovation. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable value for downtown hotel.
Positives: Staff.
Negatives: Sofa bed.

The location and the hotel security were excellent. I felt safe and comfortable despite being in the center of the Downtown area. Location was close to major freeways and Amtrak Station. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. It was also a plus to have an in-room coffee pot and refrigerator for use.
Positives: The location was excellent. Close to moderately priced eating places.
Negatives: Not convenient for shopping for sundries or other items that may have been left behind.

This is a great location in a safer part of the city and in walking distance to several good restaurants. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Friendly, helpful staff.
Positives: Crisp, clean feel to it and very friendly staff.
Negatives: Hotel restaurant was not very inviting.
