The room was spacious & they let me check in early, but I think for a 4 star hotel it ridiculous that they charge for Internet. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. But the mini frig was locked, why? They offered a traveler's package for $12.00 a nite. This includes two small bottles of cheap water, valet parking & free Internet! Such a deal. I fell one night walking up to the hotel in their lot & shattered my new iPhone 4. I asked for some band aids & the front desk clerk was so nice but his boss never came out to see if I was ok. I filled out an accident report & still no call from management. You would think they would comp my stay. Despite all this, it is a nice facility.

Positives: The hotel is very nice & the staff was excellent!

Negatives: The parking was scarce & I had to use the conference lot which was not well lite & I fell.

Beautiful hotel, but had a few unfortunate experiences with our stay.

Positives: Beds were extremely comfortable.

Negatives: Mold was growing in the shower, they misplaced an urgent ups business package and it was late arriving where it was needed.

We loved this hotel - the location was wonderful - you could walk to the restaurants and shopping - and it was easy to find from the airport. The service was great.

Positives: I liked the excellent customer service.

Negatives: I did not like the technology fee.

Lovely view and location, staff very nice, but beds were hard and generally chairs and beds very uncomfortable. We have stayed in other Westin hotels and stayed here with the expectation of comfortable beds which didn't happen. Too bad because the rest of the stay was lovely.

Positives: Clean, great view, all lobby, pool, workout facilities were first rate.

Negatives: The beds were terrible and chairs uncomfortable.

Needs some minor maintenance done and a pool and hot tub needed to added or advertised better. Overall, good place to stay.

Positives: That it was walking distance within lots of things to do.

Negatives: No swimming pool or hot tub that we could find.

I felt like if I breathed wrong, I would be charged extra. On the back of the bathroom door hung a hanger with a sign that said something like, "Please enjoy our wonderful bathrobe. If you take it, you'll pay for it." However, there was no bathrobe on the hanger or anywhere in the room. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they said, "Yes, sometimes housekeeping takes those for cleaning and they don't get them back very fast." The business model is sketchy and I will avoid the hotel in the future, despite its comfortable beds.

Positives: Comfortable beds.

Negatives: Hotel charged me an additional resort fee of $12 beyond contracted room price for services that could not be declined.

Other than the strong dog smell everywhere, it was a great hotel to stay in for business. The rooms are small, but comfortable. However, I was surprised to find a $12 per night technology fee added to my bill even though I didn't use any of the optional technologies.

Positives: The staff was super helpful.

Negatives: You cannot escape the smell of dog anywhere in this hotel. The smell doesn't fit the decor.

Though the beds are nice, the Westin does not compare to its neighbors, the Omni or the Renaissance with a lack of comparative amenities such as the steam room, golf and other items. I have stayed her before and was never charged a resort fee. It is not a resort, so I did not find it acceptable that they charged me a resort fee on my final bill, without telling me about it in advance. Between that price and the high prices at Priceline's fees and taxes, I ended up paying over $30 more than I had hoped for.

Positives: Beds

Negatives: Required resort fee that I did not know about or use services that it covered.

I don't travel for business much, but this seemed to be a great hotel for hosting business conferences. The rooms were comfortable, the catered food was above average in quality, and overall, people seemed pleased with their stays.

Positives: It was clean, comfortable, and easy for me to attend my conference.

Negatives: They originally wrote the wrong room number on my paperwork causing me to have to call the lobby for the right room.

This is a very nice, modern hotel with fire pits on the patio and a great restaurant for breakfast. The fitness room was small so I chose to run outside around the nearby golf course. The rooms were large and clean and the beds were fantastic with nice bedding and lots of pillows.

Positives: Comfortable, modern hotel.

Negatives: High fees for having packages delivered to the hotel.

This was a very nice, quiet hotel located within walking distance to numerous shops and restaurants and within five minutes drive to Flatiron. The lobby is beautiful and warm feeling (as is the staff). The rooms are contemporarily styled and our extremely large west facing windows gave a beautiful Theme Park - desk view of the large fountain below and dining district (which is an easy walk from the hotel). Over all, this hotel was extremely nice, and I would gladly stay here again.

Positives: The hotel has a beautiful lobby (Dark woods and Pottery Barn) and the view

Negatives: The pool was awkward to get to and the pool itself was not warm while the hot tub's jets shot out of the tub.

If you want a great hotel and you're not in a hurry to get downtown during rush hour than this is the hotel for you.

This is a mediocre 3 star hotel masquerading as an expensive 4 star hotel. $16 for internet, charges for printing, stamps, and extra coffee packets. Carpets in the rooms and especially in the halls are torn and soiled. The baseboards and elevators are dirty, scratched and marred. This hotel needs to be shut down and renovated.

Positives: Pet-friendly.

Negatives: It's a dump - soiled and torn carpets - charges for internet, printing and stamps.

Just not a four star property. It is a three star hotel. At three stars it's fine.

Positives: Location good.

Negatives: Room was not set up correctly. Coffee maker was missing and they replaced it with a dirty one. TV is 15-20 years old.

Very good hotel, and convenient for travelers. If we were not en route to RMNP I would think this hotel was in kind of a weird location - in the middle of a strip mall, essentially.

This hotel was very nice and upscale. The location was wonderful when passing through Denver. The promenade within walking distance featured several restaurants, movie theater, arcade, comedy club and ice arena. Several walking paths and water bodies made this location a relaxing place to stay.

The Westin Westminster is a wonderful place to stay. The hotel itself is grand, modern and beautiful. It is located next to a trendy retail center with restaurants and cinema, also adjacent to the Westminster Promenade. Hotel staff is stellar. The restaurant is superb, food and service. Beautiful views, too.

Positives: Top flight: staff, restaurant, gym, views, public areas.
