This room was Great! There is a drive in movie next door showing on 2 screens there are built in speakers in the rooms and wide picture windows to watch. My older teens loved it! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The price was a little high for the location. Overall the retro feel of it was fun.
Positives: The rooms were so clean.
Negatives: The desk clerk did not explain how to access wifi at check in even when I asked.

Good overnight accommodation; no choice of where to eat because of location.

The hotel was not fancy but was very comfortable and had clean, large rooms. The presence of a restaurant on site was very convenient. The hotel is just outside of the town of Monte Vista and well off the main road which makes for a quiet stay. Traveling with children is always a challenge...after a long day on the road, the kids really got a kick out the unique experience of watching a drive-in movie from the large picture window in the room.
Positives: Clean room - Friendly and helpful staff - only G thru PG-13 movies shown at drive-in.
Negatives: Extra chairs to watch drive-in movies would be a good idea.
