The facility is located within Genesee Park of Denver's mountain parks at an elevation of 7,700 feet in sight of the Continental Divide. Jacques Benedict, a well-known Denver architect, designed the unique stone masonry lodge. Chief Hosa or "Little Raven" was an Arapaho chief.
