For our traveling needs this was a perfect place to stay. Close to downtown and restaurants. Clean and nice place to be for the night. Thanks.
Positives: It was very convenient in location and price.
Negatives: Nothing I can think of to write, honestly.

A good comfortable hotel with easy access from the main road. Good parking. Continental breakfast rather inadequate, probably as an incentive to use the attached Applebees
Positives: Quiet location.
Negatives: No elevator.

Great location to visit the City of Durango on a budget. Hotel is a little older but kept nice. Room was very clean and staff were very friendly.
Positives: River side location was excellent.
Negatives: No elevator.

It was nice just plain and simple hotel.
Positives: Nice room and great view of river.
Negatives: Outdoor entrance.

Their pool is in a separate building with the rooms surrounding this building, so all rooms of this side face the pool but to me that is not a pool side room. We were even on the second floor. My grandson's had been looking forward to having a pool side room, where they could go directly from the room to the pool and not down a flight of stairs and around a building in the rain.
Positives: Nice beds.
Negatives: Priced high for what you get.

Pretty standard 2.5 star motel. 2-bed room was clean but not particularly spacious. Being next to the Applebee was very convenient, but that did away with free breakfast (only for kids with paying adults). Generally a nice facility but slightly older than others. Parking was plentiful but was full that night we were there.
Positives: Right in the middle of town and close to points of interest. Apple bee association was great for free kids meals. Nice pool.
Negatives: Front hotel parking was a big dangerous.

Clean, and convenient place to stay close to Downtown Durango, just across the Highway, but be careful of the crossing, there is no sidewalk on the hotel side, so when it is icy, it is a little dangerous to walk with small children, i.e. take the car across at night. The Applebee’s in the restaurant was pretty good food and very good service for a chain resturant, and when waiting for others to arrive at the hotel, provided a great place to wait and snack with the kids. Cons to the place is that the front desk help was pretty clueless overall, and the walls are a little thin when there is a lot of people about, but the stay was positive and we had a great time.
Positives: Convenjient and good location to downtown.
Negatives: Do not count on staff to relay important information.

Great location for our convenience. Great food at Applebee's on opposite side of building. Clean room, though a bit cramped.
Positives: Convenient location.
Negatives: A bit cramped for space, A bit overpriced.

Walking distance to town and right on the river. Easy check in. Simple but clean hotel.
Positives: Walking distance to town and right on the river!
Negatives: Pool area was dingy.

I think for the price it was not worth it.
Positives: Comfortable beds, clean rooms.
Negatives: The pool water was so cold, you could not swim.

The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. It was conveniently located being only a couple blocks from downtown. There was no breakfast which most hotels in this price range offer. They did have oatmeal and hot tea. There was a restaurant but we did not eat there.
Positives: Great location being only a couple blocks from downtown.
Negatives: Breakfast consisted of oatmeal and drinks. Most in this price range offer more.

The hotel takes full advantage of it's great location and charges way too much. The room did not have 2 queen beds like the description indicated instead they were full beds. The room was small and we didn't have a lot of room to move around; we felt cramped with just a family of four. The bathroom was also too small, no room to get dressed. The indoor pool and hot tub were cold.
Positives: The location is great.
Negatives: Overpriced!

Liked the river behind the hotel. Room was clean, ice machines were close. NO breakfast. Double beds. Needs the new kind of shower rod. The one that gives you more room. I thought that the hotel was a little dated for the price.
Positives: I liked the towels and the location.
Negatives: No breakfast, small beds, for $140.

Centrally located to everything. I did request a nonsmoking room, but at was assigned a smoking room. I returned to the desk and got another room. This one must of been a smoking room recently, because it had the cigarette smell also, but not a strong. I really don't like complaining, so I just lived with it.
Positives: Close to the attractions/downtown.
Negatives: Cable TV didn't has HBO. The room smells like cigarette smoke.

Clean rooms and friendly staff was a big plus. We also liked the fact that pets were allowed.
Positives: Allowed pets.
Negatives: Not enough parking, room service left a dirty tray of food outside the door next door to ours for three days.

Very centrally located, but not too close to the train station (noise).
Positives: Location was near the river and town center.
Negatives: Coffee machine dispenses only one full cup, weird to use.

Bed hard, not quite clean, a little rundown feel.
Positives: Easy to get in and out of room to auto.
Negatives: Bathroom floor dirty, Applebee's as part of the hotel was in short, disgusting, smelled stale and felt dirty and food very sub-standard.

We liked the convenience of being able to walk into town. We also liked having an Applebee's next to the hotel. The hotel is older and needed some repairs. Our bathroom door was damaged and not repaired properly and the drapes kept falling off the hooks. We stayed near the river, which was nice during the day, but seemed to draw some weird characters at night.
Positives: Close to Downtown Durango.
Negatives: Older hotel needs to be remodeled. Drunks and weird people roaming around at night near the river behind the hotel. Noisy at night.

Other than # 15, it was fine. The clerk wasn't sure if the man who walked in behind me was with me, so she actually showed him where my room was. I am a woman. I did not know him. When I told her about it, she said she was afraid to ask. I went back and asked for a different room. It was rude on his part; she was too nice. The room was fine.
Positives: It was easier to find and basic-what I was looking for.
Negatives: Desk person showed my room to the strange man beside me.

Lobby nice we considered purchasing candle or air freshener for our room.
Positives: Close to Historic Downtown.
Negatives: Did not smell fresh.

Hotel needs to be updated, cleaned up or dropped to a 1 star class.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Hotel run down, very poor up keep.

The room was clean and beds were very very comfortable. It is nice to have a good TV with lots of channels for entertainment. You can always count of Holiday Inn to have decent rooms.
Positives: Clean and comfortable room with TV and channels.
Negatives: Other Holiday Inn's are more family friendly.

Check-in was quick and efficient. The room was comfortable but I would not have been happy if I had one of the rooms facing the parking area as the cars parking faced directly into the rooms and the headlights were like giant spotlights into peoples rooms. There is an Applebee's attached and we wanted to eat after checking in but were turned away by management because they decided to close an hour early in order to clean the fryer. That was disappointing and unprofessional.
Positives: Comfortable rooms and easy check-in.
Negatives: The restaurant attached decided to close early to do some cleaning and turned us away.
