Over all for the price this hotel was great. Attractive room and great location.
Positives: The rooms were attractive.
Negatives: The blanket needed to be washed or replaced. It had visible stains on it. Nasty...

Clean room and
new very comfy beds, (I guess they replaced the ones that were landing them bad reviews 1-2 yrs ago). Good breakfast. Odd-numbered rooms are on the tracks side, so if you get a choice request an even-numbered room or
a first floor.
Positives: Great price and quality for so close to downtown.
Negatives: Noise from trains.

The original room was very very nice. I was surprised at the cleanliness, comfort of the bed, layout. The next morning when I realized I had been placed in a smoking room in spite of calling ahead for a non-smoking room and asking again when I checked in, I was moved downstairs to a room that was adequate. Unfortunately, being on the ground floor was bad in many other ways--none of which the motel had much control over. However, the second room seemed to not have been renovated as recently, the beds were older, etc. It was nice and about the quality I had expected originally. The staff was mostly very nice and the lobby and breakfast areas were clean and inviting.
Positives: First room was very nice, clean, the beds were comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised.
Negatives: I was put in a smoking room (the nice one) even though I specifically asked for non-smoking twice.

There was quite a bit of noise from trains and not sure what else but seemed to stop by midnight. I had to ask the lady that was checking me into the room to put her call on hold after 20 minutes of waiting while she was talking to her friend about Thanksgiving plans and stuff she needed to buy.
Positives: Starbucks is close by.
Negatives: Breakfast ends at 9am, no trays to bring food to room, ice machine on 2nd floor.

Our room was clean and within walking distance to Coors Field, which is what we wanted. Wear walking shoes, though, because it is not right next door. All of the staff was friendly, and when we called to say that we had left something in the closet, they sent it to us. We didn't take advantage of the swimming pool or the free breakfast, but they were both available. It is nothing fancy, but it met our needs quite nicely.
Positives: Clean room and friendly staff.
Negatives: The door to the ice machine would not unlock with our key so we had to go around.

The hotel was very convenient to Downtown and was clean. Much cleaner than others I have stayed in downtown. The two downsides were the walls were very thin, we could hear our neighbors talking and it's very close to the Train Depot.
Positives: Very convenient to Downtown.
Negatives: Very close to the Train Depot and Interstate!

Overall, it was about what I expected. I would recommend it to anyone seeking comfort without high standards.
Positives: Its location was very convenient and the people were very friendly. Free breakfast.
Negatives: Stains on comforters, small bathrooms.

This hotel was cleaner than the Sheraton that I just stayed in. The beds were really comfortable, so no complaints there. Others had complained of the railway noise, but it doesn't go all night, so it wasn't really that bad.
Positives: The rooms were amazingly clean!
Negatives: It was close to the railway, so kind of noisy in the early morning.

Very comfortable and affordable. Conveniently situated (at I-25 offramp).
Positives: Staff friendly and helpful.
Negatives: Continental breakfast was below average, coffee was bad.

This hotel is located between a large rail yard and two raised freeways. At the time of writing a new small retail mall was opening which offered a Starbucks and a Dominoes Pizza but other than this and the gas station there are no facilities locally. The nearest bars and restaurants are just over a mile away, past the Coors baseball field. The hotel itself is average of the type. It looks a little tired which paint flaking off the stairs and some outside walls. The pool, which is not in a nice location, looked cloudy, and was never in use. Other than that it was fairly clean. The room was again average. Everything worked as it should and it was clean. I would recommend this hotel to business travelers who want to be within a short cab ride (6 miles) of downtown, and are on a budget, or to baseball fans but not to couples or families mainly because of its inconvenient location and average condition.
Positives: 6 miles from downtown.
Negatives: Close to the freeway with limited facilities in the area.

This hotel is in a great easy location to get to interstates, and to downtown Denver. Very clean and in nice area. I will go back there next time returning to Denver.
Positives: Great employees and
Negatives: Nothing.

We chose the La Quinta, because of its proximity to Coors Field. We had a little difficulty locating it. But once we were there, it worked great for us to be able to walk to the games. The hotel staff was very efficient and courteous. The water temperature in the pool was perfect, but the pool water was dirty. The room had obvious signs of wear and tear, that need to be corrected. Overall, it was okay.
Positives: The staff was very courteous and efficient. The proximity to Coors Field worked well.
Negatives: The pool was dirty and the room has obvious wear and tear.

Hotel is next to active train yard. Noise was loud all night: brakes, docking cars, loading and unloading, etc. Although the hotel staff was friendly and breakfast was good, the location negated any positive. Would not recommend unless you are a very sound sleeper!
Positives: Staff was friendly and helpful; breakfast was good.
Negatives: Location: next to train yard: brakes, trains docking all night.

Overall good value hotel. I choose this hotel due to proximity to my downtown Denver meeting. I was told it was close to Coors Field and a lot of hotel patrons will walk to the stadium from the hotel. My meeting was 6 blocks from the stadium and I choose to walk to the hotel with my rolling luggage. I called and received directions. The Desk Clerk gave me inaccurate directions and was unable to locate the hotel after walking with luggage in tow for over 2 miles. I called again and was given another set of vague directions. After walking back to the stadium I asked a local where the La Quinta was and he directed approximately another mile away. I gave up walking and had to wait 30 minutes for a taxi. The hotel was nowhere close to where I was told.
Positives: Location to downtown Denver.
Negatives: Desk clerk was not able to give me accurate directions to the hotel.

Hotel was ok value for the money. It was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Exterior of hotel is run down and it is next to railroad switching terminal which went on all night.
Positives: Clean, the breakfast area was excellent.
Negatives: Hotel is in poor condition on exterior, next to railroad which was noisy.

It was fine, but, I would not recommend it to someone without a car.
Positives: Breakfast was great.
Negatives: The location was not good.

There were a few problems with the room, but a phone call and a visit to the frontdesk fixed them.
Positives: With in walking distance of Downtown and Amtrak station.
Negatives: Elevator smelled like someone spilled oil in it.

Good for the price that I paid, but the nights were restless due to the noise from the train station and highway being real close by. The staff was professional and helped with directions around town.
Positives: The price and location, clean very professional staff.
Negatives: The noise from train tracks close by and the highway traffic that is very near.

Nice place! Well worth the money. Easy walk to Coors Field. Surprisingly new and clean.
Positives: No hotel closer to Coors Field!
Negatives: no complaints, not sure if there was anywhere to eat or drink nearby

Worth the price and very convenient.
Positives: A free breakfast was provided with a stay at the hotel.
Negatives: Our bathroom door had a hole where there should have been a door knob.
