Great location right off a running trail. Walking distance to grocery store and other fast food locations. Rooms are nothing special. No fridge or microwave in the room. Staff were nice.
Positives: Location in walking distance to grocery store and running path.
Negatives: No fridge or microwave in room.

Good stay in a good location at a great price. The air conditioner in the room was noisy but that was a minor inconvenience. I would certainly stay again!
Positives: Fast friendly check-in and nice room.
Negatives: I felt the elevators and corridors were not super clean.

Nice property, but poor hotel staff.
Positives: Pool inside and outside.
Negatives: Housekeeping tried to open my door 3 times between 8 am - 11:40 am when check-out was noon. Staff not friendly at checkout and didn't even say thank you.

The hotel was outdated and the bed was not very comfortable, but for the price I paid, I was happy.
Positives: The check in clerk, gave us a slightly upgraded room.
Negatives: The room and hotel is outdated and the carpet was very old and dirty in the room.

The hotel was nice, especially for the price we got it on Priceline.
Positives: Very convenient for all that we wanted to do in Boulder.
Negatives: Loud Air conditioner.

We went for our honeymoon and chose this hotel for the outdoor pool and general location. We loved the convenient access to Boulder and the hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. The path on the creek is great. The room was very clean, but other areas, especially the outdoor pool and surrounding grounds we really dirty. We really felt the room was way too expensive, and no breakfast was included either. The in-house restaurant food was totally boring, and not recommended. Also way too expensive for the offerings. The outdoor pool and grounds maintenance are in serious need of improvement. We would only return if our room was half the price.
Positives: Liked the outdoor pool, location to Boulder creek and Boulder urban areas.
Negatives: Way overpriced, pool and surrounding area need serious daily maintenance, entire hotel needs major updating/repairs.

Friendly staff but hotel lacked any additional services for the price paid. Internet was costly and HBO was not offered and no complimentary breakfast. Overall room was small and cramped. Would recommend going to another hotel with more amenities.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Offered few services or leisures.

Everything about the hotel was very nice except our room was very small. The price we landed on Priceline probably saved us 50% on the room, but what we paid was, in our minds, what the room was worth. The bathroom door wouldn't shut unless you jammed it. And when my girlfriend did that, we thought she was stuck in the bathroom until I gave the door a hefty shove from the outside. Though the room itself was a disappointment, other aspects of the hotel were very nice. It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it had a beautiful gathering area behind the hotel that bordered a fantastic running/biking trail.
Positives: Great gathering area behind the hotel. Located next to beautiful walking/biking trail.
Negatives: Our room was tiny. Not what I would have expected for the money the hotel charged.

Huge hotel, small room, trash in hallway, old carpet. Not what a weary traveler wants to endure.
Positives: Location
Negatives: Ridiculous small room, uncomfortable bed, loud air conditioner.

On arrival hotel looked nice. We were put into a different building than the lobby. It looked like a very unattractive old motel building. The entrance to it, the elevator, the hallway walking to the room was not at all what I would have expected for the star rating. However, after getting into the room, it was nice and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable.
Positives: The very comfy bed.
Negatives: The building we were put in looked like an old motel.

Positives: Comfortable beds.
Negatives: No free Internet in room.

The building is older on the exterior, but nicely appointed inside. View from my window was poor, but the bed was comfy. My bedside alarm went off in the middle of the night repeatedly, which was annoying.
Positives: Room was lovely and the bed was nice.
Negatives: Could have used an extra sink. The radio alarm kept going off in middle of the night. I think it reacted to phones or something.

I am very happy with the quality I got for the price I paid. The rooms are extra large and the staff is very friendly.
Positives: The rooms are very large.
Negatives: The bathrooms could use some updating and windows need to be sealed better.

After reading reviews I was afraid to stay here. But for the price we paid I thought it was a steal!! Our view was great, the bar was great, pool was very much enjoyed by all. All the staff we met was very helpful and friendly. I have only one complaint and that would be about the cleanness of the hot tubs, very dirty. And the maid never replaced the shampoo, conditioners, or toilet paper. But, other than that this place was perfect for our ski trip.
Positives: Location was awesome. Had everything we wanted.
Negatives: The hot tub was very dirty.

Room was spacious and nice. Did not like cupboards instead of drawers. Too spread out and elevators were slow. Service in restaurant was not good.
Positives: Friendly staff.
Negatives: Too spread out and slow and bad elevators.

Our room was very clean, well maintained and attractive, the bed and pillows were cozy and comfortable (though I suggest using fitted sheets). The hotel was quiet with very friendly and helpful staff. We had a gorgeous view of the Flatirons. My only complaint was that our room was extremely hot. We did not turn the heater on, yet the temperature was almost unbearable. We kept the sliding door and window open around the clock, even at night when the temperature dropped down into the 20s. Seems like a huge waste of energy. We had a great stay and I look forward to a return visit.
Positives: Well maintained, attractive, comfortable, and
Negatives: Too hot in the room, had to keep sliding door and window open in winter.

Close to many shops, restaurants etc.
Positives: This hotel looks much better on the inside than the first impression of the outside portrays.
Negatives: The internet was down for most of the visit and that severely impacted my business.

This hotel has been a great hotel, and still shows remnants of its glory days. Located on Boulder Creek and its terrific bike path, it has cover tennis courts and an indoor pool. Nice patio for summer months, and some rooms have spectacular views of the nearby mountains. But it is a bit tattered, especially for a 3 star. The parking lot has pot holes. The sidewalks have some tricky spots. The interior needs a serious remodel, which I understand would be very expensive, but without it, it will continue to decline. And they charge for Internet access?
Positives: Priceline price.
Negatives: $10 for in-room Internet.

Absolutely terrible support staff. Internet went down 4 times in 24 hours. Front desk staff was just very rude. A horrible experience for a professional business traveler!
Positives: Fast room service.
Negatives: Absolutely terrible support staff.

This was a grand hotel with a beautiful back outside area for entertainment. It is located in a great part of Boulder with access to shopping and hiking. Our room, however, was a disappointment. It was so small that it didn't seem to fit with the hotel.
Positives: The outdoor and indoor pools were wonderful.
Negatives: The room that we stayed in was so very small. It was a one person room.
Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 19 Aug 2008 rated 8 out of 10.
This is a large, convenient and nice hotel.
Positives: The Friday night entertainment.
Negatives: It's showing it's age.

Decent hotel. The hallways were not air conditioned. Very long walk from either tower to the lobby. On the third day, the maid did not properly clean the room, replace the towels or replenish the soap and shampoo.
Positives: Excellent location, on-site Starbucks.
Negatives: The bathroom sink would not drain. It took 2 calls to get it repaired.

I once lived in Boulder and was under the impression that this was a nice facility. The lobby looks nice, and renovations were made a few years ago. It is run-down, and due to stained floors (both carpet and bathroom tile), I questioned the cleanliness. I had to change rooms, because the floors in the first room had garbage all over them (room not cleaned, apparently). I could hardly move in the first room, very small. Elevators have no AC and are very hot in summer. The buffet is nice on the creek, and the lobby is misleading, as it is nice as well. The staff was kind enough to move us to a different room when we discovered that the first one was dirty. The location on the creek is quite nice, too.
Positives: Near the creek, nice buffet.
Negatives: Old facility: stained floors in BA, tattered shower curtains, run-down, no AC in elevators; small rooms.

The hotel itself was fine with nice shared areas, pools and gym, however the room was dingy, out dated and in disrepair. It was supposed to be an ADA room, but the shower was unusable because you could not get around the in swing door in a wheelchair, not so sweet at all. The window was fogged and the bathroom was kind of nasty.
Positives: The pools and outdoor areas were nice.
Negatives: The room was dingy, out dated and in disrepair.

Hotel is nice enough. Price was great - accommodations would have been nicer at a budget hotel.
Positives: Nice lobby.
Negatives: Got stuck in a closet type room - not nearly what I would have expected for a top tier hotel in Boulder.

Not even close to being a 3-star hotel. Old, tired, and decrepit. Looks like an attempt was made to update the lobby and rooms but can't disguise fact that hotel is antiquated. Low ceilings, tiny bathrooms, stained carpets, gross! Exterior is very unattractive as well.
Positives: Great view of the mountains from 4th floor room.
Negatives: Just about everything.

This hotel is conveniently located with beautiful grounds, a friendly staff and usually pretty good food!
Positives: Lovely grounds, nice rooms, good location.
Negatives: Dinner one night.
