Nice, clean, friendly. Smoking rooms should be aired out better.
Positives: This was an attractive and clean hotel.
Negatives: I would rather sleep in my car than a smoking room but that was all that was available.

If staying in Alamosa to ride the Cumbers & Toltec Scenic Railroad, this is a good one. The continental breakfast includes scrambled eggs and a wide variety of pastries, muffins and rolls, within walking distance of Wal-Mart.
Positives: Close to tourist railroad.
Negatives: Staff frequently stepping out front to smoke.
