This hotel was totally unsatisfactory. We were very displeased and checked out and had to pay for a different hotel for the night. We have to this point not been able to get a refund. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone we know.

Negatives: It was dirty and not a comfortable place to stay.

Manager was very accommodating to get me into my room (arrived before check in time). Continental breakfast was pretty good, location wasn't bad. Not too noisy, laundry facility on site.

Positives: Free breakfast.

Negatives: Average place, nothing really bad about it.

Not a bad place to stay. Did not like the fact that there was a trainee on duty at night and she didnt know what she was doing and had to call the manager via phone to help her with very simple task.

Positives: I liked that I could park right in front of my room.

Negatives: I did not like the staff or management.

If they replace the mattress (as there were spring sticking out of it) dry the room floors (in California that would be as easy as keeping the doors open longer during the day), then I think this would be a decent economy hotel.

If you need a place to stay and don't plan on needing to be in the room for more than sleep, than this hotel is perfect. It's on a busy street, so noise was always in the background. The rooms were well kept, though new paint and repairs were not done well. The television was a nice new flat screen, though the additional cable channels that were listed did not come in. The parking lot was very tiny, and for some rooms you could not park close to your door. Across the street is the Sheriff's training academy, so there was always law enforcement in the area. There are a few fast food places within sight of the parking lot, and access to the rest of Whittier was very convenient.

Positives: The television was a brand new flat screen.

Negatives: It was old and the repairs were poorly done.

This is further off the freeway than we would have preferred. Restaurants were scarce nearby. Older part of town, across the street from a sheriff's academy a plus if you are visiting that. The parking lot is large in back, not sure about safety there, small up front. Small lobby, little services, small pool. A revamped older motel.

Positives: The bed and bedding were fine.

Negatives: Bathroom fixtures were broken, small parking lot.

This hotel was nice to stay it had a pool and great rates for doing laundry, I would stay here again given that I was doing business there.

Positives: Overall this hotel was a good deal and was up to par.

Negatives: Bathrooms could use some remodeling.

1. First of all, they charged me an extra $10 a day for two full beds instead of a queen.<br>2. The rooms were dirty.<br>3. My bed was missing a head board.<br>4. The restrooms were moldy.<br>5. The vanity light at the sink does not work.<br>6. The bathroom fan did not work.<br>7. This was rated as a two star room, but it clearly the worst motel/hotel room I ever stayed in anywhere.
