Sunset on Grafton is smack in the middle of all the night venues you would want to experience if you were staying in LA. Venues are particularly accommodating of hotel patrons too. The energy in Grafton is cool and a bit grungy, the sort of place you'd expect to bump into musicians or writers. Late clubbing sounds from the Sky Bar didn't bother us because you can always close the windows and crank the air con.

Positives: Funky vibe, young patrons, casual and interesting.

Negatives: Old bed linen and the room decor quite tired.

Good location, within walking distance to my destination. Well maintained foyer and room. Free shuttle service within a 3 mile radius.

Positives: Very comfortable king size bed. Luxurious towels and nicely decorated.

Negatives: Coffee/ tea was available at a central table, and not in a room.

Highly recommend The Grafton on Sunset. Beautiful and artistic decor, well-appointed and spacious rooms, friendly staff and a perfect location. The pool area is wonderful. Nice menu for poolside dining and reasonably priced. Will be back at every opportunity.

Positives: Gorgeous hotel and great location.

Negatives: Maid service was a little noisy in the morning.

The hotel was very nice but $28.00 for parking is very steep.

Positives: It was very unique and convenient.

Negatives: The restaurant was not open for business.

The hotel staff was not honest. The room shared one wall with the bar. The music was so loud that I was unable to sleep. Called desk and they said it would stop in 1/2 hour. After 1 hour, I called again and was told they'd turn it down. Called again after 1 hour and they said that I'd have to live with it until the bar closed in "a few hours". After my tirade they did move me the next day.

Positives: Pool.

Negatives: Room next to bar and music so loud. Wouldn't change our room on the first night.

I didn't ever wish to stay at this hotel again. They threw some paint, new fixtures on a old run down hotel and were trying to say it was at three and half star rating. I got woke up every night by people upstairs and people walking down the hallways. The walls here were paper thin.

Positives: It had a great location. Right in the middle of sunset blvd.

Negatives: It was very loud and noisy, just all around wore down.
