Our Labor Day 5 night stay at the Tahoe Seasons Hotel/Timeshare was not quite the trip from hell, but certainly was the trip to purgatory.

We received zero housekeeping services during the entire stay. I even had to empty the room trash twice myself. At check-out we were charged a $66 housekeeping fee. When I complained about receiving zero housekeeping services, they admitted that that is their policy for a 5 night stay, and, amazingly, it is also their policy to access a $66 housekeeping fee for zero services.
The in-room fireplace did not work. We called for maintenance. They came. It still did not work.
.

Positives: Far from Tahoe city.

Negatives: They charge $66 for housekeeping, but give you zero housekeeping services.

Room was nice. Hot tub in room. Wish the bed was a king, not a queen but there wasn't room for that, not that the room was small, because the bathroom/tub area was large and there was a whole separate room with a roll out sofa.

Positives: Nice location

Negatives: Queen bed instead of king

My first room on the fifth floor was awful. Also could not get room service for breakfast the next day.

Positives: I like the size of the second suite they put me in.

Negatives: My first night was very bad, I did not get any sleep. The air conditioner ran all night long with controls to turn it off.

I liked the hotel very much. It had a great room with a huge spa in it which is standard in every room. Dual Plasma TV's. Free valet parking and bellhop service. Very nice for the price.

Positives: Bellhop service was amazing. Very nice room.

Negatives: Small pool area.

This hotel does not have balconies though it said it did, it is six floors and it is nearly impossible to get outside. The second queen bed was a sofa bed and not comfortable. Not a 3 star experience and they kept trying to get us to buy into the timeshare program. I will never return.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Everything else.

The spa was not working, was quite a let down as this was a birthday getaway for my girl and I.

Positives: Nice access.

Negatives: Outdated, the giant in room spa did not work.

Older room/furnishings. The big in room jetted-tub is actually very inefficient/inconvenient if you are just trying to take a shower because it's hard to close off and keep warm.

Positives: Location, price.

Negatives: Valet parking instead of self park.

This hotel was very nice with very friendly staff. The room was a great setup, not your standard stuffy hotel room. The hot tub in the middle of the room was the best. The location is in the mountains away from the craziness of the downtown area, but you did have to drive to go to the lake or casinos, but not far. Simple improvements could be a hairdryer & fan in the bathroom, a little more attention to cleanliness & an option for a king size bed, but other than that this was an awesome place to stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Positives: The room setup, hot tub.

Negatives: The sand in the bed & no fan or hair dryer in bathroom.

Tahoe Seasons is a romantic get away hotel with built in fireplace and Jacuzzi for two. The rooms are being updated and I hope they keep the Jacuzzi.

Positives: We loved the in room Jacuzzi.

Negatives: The bed was uncomfortable and the decor needed updating.

Oversized room with separate sitting area. Very strange room layout. Large tub in the centerpiece of suite with "windows" into each of the room areas. Bedroom shares space with kitchen which has a small booth/table area. Mirrored wall and gas fireplace in bedroom. Couldn't tell if the hotel is trying to be a "romantic getaway" or a ski lodge with hot tubs. In either case it is not the right choice for many travelers.

Positives: Location at base of ski slope (seasonal).

Negatives: Oversized tub was centerpiece of the room. Difficult to take a shower in this oddball tub.

Very convenient location right next to California Lodge Lift (Heavenly Ski Resort). Friendly staff, nice pool and hot tub. Rooms need to be renovated. Looks like the last time there was an update done was 1970. Funny side note: If you need a hair dryer please call the front desk and they will deliver one to your room.

Positives: The Location and the Hot Tub in the room.

Negatives: Decor/Style of hotel was very 1970. They need to renovate.

Hotel was beautiful, the location was not close to down town a 10min drive. But if you are going to ski/snow board it across the street from Heavenly. Room was great, customer service upgraded us for no extra cost very clean! I would recommend it to any couple.

Positives: Free valet parking, employees always open doors for us.

Negatives: Cant think of anything my stay was great!

Pleasant surroundings, away from the center of town. Helpful and friendly staff. We would certainly return to this hotel.

Positives: Quiet location. View of Heavenly Ski area. Off the beaten track.

The room was more like a 2 star room. It had a slashed painting on the wall, furniture that was burnt and damaged, sink drain hardly worked, had to call for maid service at 3:30 p.m. because she never showed and when she came just before 4 she only changed the towels and made the bed, the restaurant was only open for breakfast, teenagers smelling strongly of alcohol using extreme profanity ran around lobby and front of hotel for several hrs unrestricted. Not the family vacation I planned and paid for.

Positives: Very close to ski resort.

Negatives: Staff was horrible.

The overall experience was great. We were disappointed with the comfort of the bed and the flat pillows since everything else was first class.

Positives: Concierge-great/ breakfast was excellent / location close to heavenly slopes-outstanding.

Negatives: Beds were not as comfortable as expected and the pillows were flat.

Very nice hotel right next door to heavenly. They need new pillows and the maids don't clean as much as I am used to at other hotels. The in room Jacuzzi I find a little quirky. The staff is extremely nice. They kept the car in valet after we checked out while we skid which was convenient. You do have to valet, but it is not a big deal: they don't expect a tip but happily receive one. You check your skis in downstairs so it is really easy to just walk out the door.

Positives: Proximity to heavenly.

Negatives: Funky tub instead of a regular shower. Pillows are not fluffy.

This hotel was a great place to stay for planning a trip to Heavenly Ski Resort and being on a romantic weekend with the girlfriend. The room had a Jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and a very comfortable queen bed. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Lastly it was easy to get to the casinos from.

Positives: How well the staff accommodated mine and my girlfriends requests.

Negatives: There wasn't a restaurant for dinner.

The Tahoe Seasons Resort is excellently placed near the foot of Heavenly. The rooms are excellent, and the staff very courteous and eager to please. The valet parking can be a bit irritating at times, (you cannot park yourself) but the other pluses more than make up for this one minus. All in all, a great experience at a great price.

Positives: The room was very comfortable, quiet, and the staff very accommodating.

Negatives: No restaurant in hotel.
