In addition to the Yuba River, the area offers nearly 50 picturesque lakes, all within 30 minutes from the park. Created by glaciers and filled by melted snow and natural springs, the lakes offer exceptional fishing. Fish species in the local waters include Eastern Brook, Mountain Brook, German, and Rainbow trout.
