As expected except for air conditioning noise and staff who knew that they couldn't do anything to fix it, but sent maintenance anyway. There was no follow-up once maintenance had said that it was working as expected (obviously heavy sleepers!). No room change was offered.
Positives: Hot tub.
Negatives: Air conditioning noise.

High prices, but can't complain about the quality, just can't stay there too long, would go broke.
Positives: Comfy beds and nice surroundings around hotel.
Negatives: Put fire-pit out at 11:00 and very high prices for rooms.

The Hyatt Vineyard Creek is a high quality hotel in a very desirable and convenient location.
Positives: The hotel room is quiet and comfortable and has a nice feel to it.
Negatives: The restaurant is not as good as it used to be in our opinion.

Very good
Positives: Good to have a happy hour on Friday night for free wine tasting.
Negatives: Room is very clean and comfortable, nice sleeping night.

Classy, quiet, and secure. I loved the fact there were no children there, but know it would be different in the summer. Great beds, TV and roomy bathroom.
Positives: Quiet and secure. Staff was very apologetic for giving me the wrong room key to start with. gave me a free breakfast in the restaurant.
Negatives: .They charge a lot for Internet service.....should be free!
Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 28 Dec 2010 rated 9 out of 10.
With the exception of the additional charge for internet service, I was very pleased with this hotel.
Positives: Good value.
Negatives: In-room internet access was an additional charge. In an up-scale hotel it should be free.

This is in the downtown area of Santa Rosa with easy access to Highway 101. It is one of the nicest in Santa Rosa and the rooms reflect the upscale decor and feel of the place.
Positives: Nice spacious rooms, lovely linens, upgraded decor, friendly staff, upscale hotel.
Negatives: Expensive Wifi, no breakfast included, pricey restaurant, area behind hotel sketchy, parking crowded.
Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 13 Dec 2010 rated 8 out of 10.
This hotel was beautiful in decor, but lacked in amenities. A continental breakfast in this area would be a plus. Many people are wine tasting and this would be a good start. Also the hotel did not have much to offer in recommendations or wine tasting coupons like the Marriott.
Positives: The comfort of the bed.
Negatives: The service desk did not follow through with requests.

Friendly staff, nice lobby, clean, and well laid out rooms.
Positives: Clean, convenient, and friendly.
Negatives: Parking was not that handy and machine noise (ventilation fan motor) going all night.

We were very happy with the hotel and staff. As already noted above, there was only one elevator and was quite a distance from the lobby and not clearly marked as to where it was. The restaurant was very nice, but you could not get to it from inside the hotel. In all, we were very pleased with the hotel and would definitely stay there again.
Positives: Hotel met all expectations, very clean and comfortable, and staff was friendly and helpful.
Negatives: Room was a little small, only one elevator and far away from lobby. Restaurant was inconvenient to get to.

It was a very clean and romantic setting, their bedding was super comfortable, however, I was very disappointed at their towels and linens and how they were so cheap! If you are paying for a 3-1/2 star hotel you at least expect to have nice linens and towels. Also, you have to pay $10 extra for is Internet access through mobile hot spot! They don't even have their own WiFi! It was the cheapest nicest hotel I have been too, definitely not a 3-1/2 star.
Positives: Comfortable beds and nice room.
Negatives: You have to pay $10 extra for Internet.

I have never stayed in a more beautiful hotel that was in the city, but I felt like I was in a leisure resort near the fire pit in the evening.
Positives: Beautiful, wonderful location, and pleasant staff.
Negatives: Not a thing.

If Santa Rosa and Sonoma Wine Country is a travel destination, this hotel is upscale compared to many others on the 101 corridor. Walking distance to charming, downtown Santa Rosa!
Positives: Very helpful staff and excellent downtown Santa Rosa location.
Negatives: Outside patio area could use a power wash.

For a Hyatt it was average. The TV channels are limited with no Fox news or Fox business stations. It was a good value for the money paid.
Positives: Good location.
Negatives: The restaurant food was good except for the dessert which was a very small amount for the price. Wine prices were high also. No fox cable news.

Classy and professional.
Positives: Very good from start to finish.
Negatives: False fire alarm was really disruptive and drove us from our room.

Would stay here again.
Positives: Comfortable bed with down comforter. Flat screen TV a big plus.
Negatives: They charge $2.50 for lobby coffee.

This day and age, every hotel that rates itself as 3.0 or higher should offer free high-speed internet service in the rooms.
Positives: LOCATION and name brand.
Negatives: We were charged for using the internet.

Very nice location. Clean, well decorated rooms that were set up nicely. Great beds with crisp, clean, fresh linens and coverings.
Positives: Very nice room. Great beds.
Negatives: Small ice bucket.

Excellent location, helpful and friendly staff, quiet room with windows that opened, updated decor, and really fast room service (great burger!) Plus the Priceline discounted price all lead to a good stay for a weary traveler. We stay in Santa Rosa at least five times a year, and this was our first stay here. We will return, even though the cold, blue light produced by the energy-efficient bulbs detracted from the room's warmth. The bathroom lighting, however, was just fine.
Positives: Location, cleanliness, comfort, Priceline price and room service - all excellent.
Negatives: The florescent bulbs were harsh, cold, and detracted from the room's comfort.

Negatives: Had to pay for wireless (archaic).

Much more quality than I expected. We only stayed one night and did not use all the extras. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Negatives: Lacked refrigerator.

This hotel was very, very nice. The staff was very friendly. The pool was beautiful, as well as the grounds. We stayed for 5 days with our 6 children (in two adjoining rooms) and had a wonderful stay.
Positives: Very clean and beautiful rooms.
Negatives: The bathroom doors are awkward and do not lock. This was a little interesting traveling with 8 people!

Overall, an upscale and kept up hotel. Common areas were very clean and safe. Centrally located right off of freeway, open/nature area outside of pool with lots of greens and walking paths. Great pool with lounge chairs and staff was friendly.
Positives: Great bed, very comfy, nice linens and well kept grounds.
Negatives: Room was a little dark, asked to change rooms no way.

This was not the luxurious hotel I expected in the middle of Wine Country. It was a clean, well located accommodation in a Business District of a rural area. It worked well to work from, but was not satisfied as a destination.
Positives: Good location, clean and efficient.
Negatives: NA.

Positives: Fairly nice.
Negatives: Room was small and a bit run down.

This is a decent hotel, but the 4 star is way too high. The hotel didn't seem any nicer, or better quality than most 2.5 to 3 star hotels I've stayed at. There is a Courtyard hotel next door that appears just as nice from the outside and the room rates are half the price. The only reason this hotel has a 4 star rating is because of the hotel name. It wasn't a bad hotel, but I would not stay there again knowing the other options that are nearby.
Positives: Close to freeway and wine country.
Negatives: Not any different than most 2.5 - 3 star hotels I've stayed at.
