I would definitely stay here again. For the price in this area it is a very good deal.
Positives: Quaint, right on the main drag, one can walk to almost all the amenities.
Negatives: The bed was uncomfortable.

Overall a good value. Nice clean facility with very friendly office staff but rooms and bathrooms are small. A complimentary continental breakfast is provided at the Peabody Restaurant next door. I would visit this hotel again for quick visits to Santa Barbara which is a few miles away.
Positives: The hotel is located on the main street of Montecito with many shops and restaurants within walking distance.
Negatives: The rooms and the bathrooms are very small with little areas to put your items.

Coast Village Inn is right in the center of Monticeto, CA right on Coast Village Rd just off 101 freeway at Olive Mill Rd. It's a older, small hotel when compared to those closer to the beach and State Street in nearby Santa Barbara. For the money, I recommend Coast Village Inn hands down.

The hotel is in an excellent location, a short walk from the beautiful Butterfly Beach and close to great restaurants. Rooms were clean, staff friendly. I wish we'd known about the spa facilities that were available.
Positives: The cleanliness and location.
Negatives: I didn't know about the spa or recreational facilities that were available until we checked out. The desk clerk didn't tell us about them.

This hotel was conveniently located. The rooms were small, but cute. They are pretty clean. Some stains on the carpet, but the linens were great. It had wireless internet which was great, and a nice large flat screen TV. The only problem was the mattress. It was lumpy, it wasn't the best nights sleep I have had, but if it wasn't for that, I would have slept like a baby. It is very quiet. However, the maids were loud in the morning. We had the do not disturb thing hanging on the door, but they didn't seem to be able to use their inside voices. However, I will stay here again. It is very comfy and the Priceline cost made it very worth the money.
Positives: It was very quaint. The office staff was extremly friendly.
Negatives: The bed was a little lumpy. The maids were loud as we were trying to sleep in.

It was a real let down over all. It would have been better to stay at a reputable chain. It was a mom and pop and not well maintained. There were no frills like coffee maker or hair dryer. The TV was fuzzy. It we could hear every foot step outside the door in the halls. The carpets were gross and dirty. It blew over all. I feel a bit taken.
Positives: I don't have much positive feedback. The staff was nice.
Negatives: The room was smelly and outdated.

Rooms tiny, furnishings getting worn; bathroom wall patches lacked paint, no A/C if it were to be needed. A 1940's era motel trading on its Montecito location without the value of similarly-marketed roadside inns on the central coast.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Rooms tiny, furnishings getting worn, bathroom needed paint.

A quaint charmer on a quiet street. Our room was tiny, but met all of our needs. Everything was impeccably clean and fresh. Very helpful, friendly staff. Definitely recommended.
Positives: Small, quaint, lovely. WONDERFUL staff. Cozy rooms, but VERY clean.
Negatives: The free "continental breakfast" at the neighboring restaurant was AWFUL. How can you ruin oatmeal?

Nice older Hotel in a convent location. Close to freeway but only stayed overnight. I can't judge how convent it is to other attractions since we only visited Anta Barbara Mission.
Positives: Very nice older hotel in a nice area of town and convent to the major freeway.
Negatives: No complaints.

Value for money inn, relatively close to the beach. Not too many facilities in the area, but decent enough for a stay in the Santa Barbara area.
Positives: OK value for money.
Negatives: Boring location. Little to do in the area.
