This hotel has very nice rooms and it was convenient for where we were going early in the morning. There was no free internet in the room. The menu for the hotel looked good on paper but the food was terrible.
Positives: The bedrooms were very nice.
Negatives: The food was terrible and overpriced.

Excellent choice, with above average service, and newly refurbished don't know why Hilton just refuses to offer free internet; after all 2 star hotels like La Quinta do so. Same goes for Marriott. Get with the new world guys.
Positives: Great location by the yacht harbor.
Negatives: Need to drive a long way to get there

Staff was friendly and has shuttle service that took us to local drug store on short notice. Very much appreciated as we came by taxi and did not have car. Beds were comfortable.
Positives: Staff was friendly and accomodating; beds were very comfortable.
Negatives: Restaurant for dinner was mediocre and breakfast buffet was not well stocked.

The staffs are not nice and it's hardly to believe it is a 3 star above hotel. almost a worst double-tree hotel I have ever stayed. The staff offered me a room in terrible condition with broken sheet and dirty bed.
Positives: Location is OK, little quiet during the nights.
Negatives: My room was in terrible condition and they didn't want to change it.

Nice hotel in a nice area. I liked the room but did not care for the location of the room at all. I would stay here again though in a different room.
Positives: I liked the location of this hotel at the marina. It was a very nice place to walk around and look at the ocean and marina.
Negatives: They put me in a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the parking lot and valet parking area - needless to say we could hear everything going on below.

A very nice hotel in a good location. They have an excellent staff and amenities. The hotel is right on the water in San Pedro. A great place to walk and run.
Positives: Beautiful location by the water.
Negatives: It's kind of off the usual tourist path.

A beautiful, well kept hotel with very friendly staff. The view from the back deck and pool side comfortable deck chairs were a pleasure to enjoy. The room service menu is substantial and prices were reasonable, but would discourage ordering pizza items. Other food items were very good.
Positives: Very comfortable, very friendly, helpful staff, who even let us book in several hours earlier than expected. This was a very pleasing bonus for us.
Negatives: Although they did provide a shuttle, that was used and very appreciated, the hotel is not as central to other amenities in San Pedro.

The location and surrounding views of the Harbor are what attracted me, since I also had business to do in San Pedro and the Peninsula. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. However, I am used to satellite channel selections for news and movies, so I hate those limited selection House hookups and for a hotel which is perfectly good in all other respects, those things I like to watch before bed at night - it just doesn't provide. I have been in some pretty out of the way motels, and they often let you have all the channels you would have at home.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Lacks cable/satellite therefore poor TV, no selections like CSPAN, LINK-TV etc.

The staff was friendly. Good location. Plenty of free parking which is the one of my criteria for selecting a hotel. Rooms had plenty of space.
Positives: Free parking, good location.
Negatives: No hot water for morning showers. They need to work on their water conservation plan!

The sheets were dirty at the room that we were given and my allergies started to act up due to smoking and pets. I was reassigned a room quickly. The staff were friendly and very attentive to our needs. We had young children. Overall this was a great experience.
Positives: When we first arrived I was given a room in the smoking and pet area, I have young children and allergies. My allergies were really reacting to this.
Negatives: The hallways are warm. No air conditioning in the hallways and only one set of elevators. There were no towels by the pool.

The hotel staff was very friendly as usual (I stay there all the time while in San Pedro) from the front desk to the room service staff. I love this hotel, just don't stay on the pool side if you want cell service. Otherwise It is a fantastic place to stay.
Positives: The marina view room on the first floor with a balcony.
Negatives: Had

This hotel was adjacent the marina in San Pedro. It was clean, the staff was pleasant, and the rooms were comfortable.
Positives: Very pleasant environment.
Negatives: It was not conveniently located for business.

Hotel public rooms are lovely and I am sure most of their accommodation rooms are as well. We then requested a 1/2 hour extension for check-out and were told not available. However later when we asked different desk staff they said no problem before even checking what room we were in. Also room we were assigned appeared still under refurbishment - bathroom had rough wood and temporary door. Despite those issues we would stay there again. Restaurant for breakfast was great and location close to lots of restaurant options.
Positives: Public rooms and views of harbor.
Negatives: Attitude of staff due to our booking on line - clearly not as accommodating.

This hotel makes sense as a one-night stay over for anyone taking a cruise originating out of the LA cruise terminal. It is located in a scenic spot on the harbor and the rooms are clean. They run complimentary shuttles to the wharf almost continuously on cruise dates. However, it only had one restaurant and the food options were limited. There is no shopping, museums, or local attractions nearby. They gave me an illegible map at reception and told me to walk through a dangerous industrial area to a group of shops/restaurants on the port that turned out to be mostly closed for the season (I took a taxi). If you want more to do in the area, I would recommend staying in Long Beach instead
Positives: The hotel is sited in a beautiful marina area.
Negatives: There was no coordination between the concierge/bell desk/front desk and it took several attempts and lots of time to get (simple) help.

Very cozy and romantic.
Positives: Comfort of the beds and the warm cookies.
Negatives: When we got to the hotel they gave us room key and sent us to a room that someone else was staying in.

Hotel is in a safe, out of the way place that provides a nice harbor view for the nautically incline guest. Family atmosphere with a small beach and gathering area close by. Great for the person/s who like great hotel accommodations with a more laidback atmosphere.
Positives: Safe, out of way, serene harbor setting.
Negatives: NA

The location is awesome, the staff was friendly and helpful, all of<BR/>them, even the maid and maintenance staff made an effort to say hello in the halls. Just need to step up the food and dinner wait staff performance and this place would be an 11.
Positives: The location right on the Marina was awesome.
Negatives: The hotel food was typical generic ok food.
