Great location next to freeway and Denny's and room was very quiet considering our windows faced the freeway. Motel has maintenance staff on site who appears to keep things in good order and complex was attractive setting with good layout. If you enjoy utilizing pool and jacuzzi I would highly recommend this motel for the 24/4 access provided.
Positives: Room had modern upgrades and 24/7 access to pool & jacuzzi were plus even though we didn't utilize them.
Negatives: Issue with poor venting in bathroom & gap between room door and frame. Refrigerator was turned off which didn't provide for immediate refer/freezer.

The unit itself was good. Clean. Roomy. Nice beds and flatscreen TV. However, the chair for the desk was broken, one window lock was broken, and the maid left the door ajar all day after cleaning our room!

Disappointing, wish there was another alternative in this town,. We have stayed in many Best Western hotels, including in Europe. This is probably the worst hotel endorsed by Best Western.
Positives: Close to Denny's and restaurant facilities.
Negatives: minimally acceptable room, plywood closet, mold on the bathroom walls

Wouldn't stay here. Place is dated and poorly maintained. Road and freeway noise a big factor. Doesn't rate 2.5 stars, certainly.

The rooms are dirty (cockroaches). The rug was sticky. The cleaning staff was loud and non-attentive. Difficult entry and exit to property, but wouldn't stay again!

Fine for short, inexpensive stay when you plan to spend your time at the beach or other area. It’s a decent motel – not a high end hotel room. Beds are comfortable and rooms are a good size for family of 4. The kids enjoyed the small pool. I would have enjoyed the small jacuzzi if a used band-aid wasn’t laying right at the entry. The rooms were clean, so I would’ve thought that the band-aid had been left just recently. However, when I saw the maid cleaning next to the pool area, I realized the band-aid had been overlooked and left there. On the positive side, the front desk clerk was very responsive when I told him about it.
Positives: Room size was generous for a motel.
Negatives: Used band-aid at Jacuzzi entrance was not inviting. Fact that maid had just cleaned the area and missed this was very disappointing.

The hotel room itself was very neat and comfortable. The problems we experienced with the hotel were outside of the actual hotel room. Parking was very limited, so we parallel parked next to the rooms, as others had done.

Horrible beds, impossible to sleep at night.<BR/>The front desk was unavailable each time we called or walked to the door, it always said "we'll be back in 20 Min's." Very clean though!

see above. AND, the hotel was extremely overpriced. We paid $100.00 for a dirty room! (yes, actual dirt and leaves on the tile floor!) The room smelled like stinky feet. We had to buy candles and keep them lit the entire time we were in our room to combat the stink.

It was very clean and close to the beach. My room was in the back of the hotel, there were cement and construction trucks taking up parking spaces (not very attractive to look at either). The laundry room was open and sheets and bedding were spilling out in the parking lot.

Great hotel. Enjoyed refrigerator in the room. The bed was comfortable and did not have anothers grove in the mattress.

When we got to our room, there was a strong cleaning solution smell in the room. We requested a different room, which was granted. The second room was better. The beds were somewhat hard. The desk staff was helpful.

The lobby staff was very friendly and polite. It is a very clean hotel. Did not see any broken/defective items any where on the grounds. (Usually, one sees at least a door or two that needs repair or an unpainted wall.) Everything was very well maintained.
Positives: It is extremely conveniently located to the freeway, golf, the mission and fine dining.
Negatives: I had a problem communicating in English with the maid service. But they were very friendly and polite never the less.

It offered a pleasant hideaway-type atmosphere in the midst of a busy area. It was very clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It was a great jumping off point for the many things we had planned for our stay.
Positives: It was ideally located for our vacation to south orange county, ca: near the highway and golf courses, good restaurants and clubs and the mission.
Negatives: It was tough getting out onto Ortega highway if you wanted to head east.

For the price, it was a great and we would recommend this hotel to others. The location was exactly what we needed. We had a baby and even though the hotel was full no one said they heard a peep from him.
