Hotel Diva is a very chic, modern and clean hotel with friendly people at the front desk. Valet parking is cheaper here than any other hotel we've stayed at in downtown San Francisco which was a nice surprise.

Positives: I enjoyed the modern design of this hotel and the cleanliness as well as the good-sized rooms for a Boutique hotel.

Negatives: The bathroom is quite small and the shower heads are not adjustable.

We were expecting something decent at least. Hotel Diva fell really below our expectations, we even tried to stay out as much as possible so we wouldn't have to spend a lot of time in the hotel room. We also went to check out the hotel rooms at Travelodge and found them much better which is kind of sad considering Travelodge is supposed to be a cheap motel and Diva a 3-star one.

Positives: The location only and Starbucks.

Negatives: The size and condition of rooms, quite bad for a 3 star hotel.

This hotel was excellent! The staff was very friendly and upgraded us to a suite upon our arrival. It has a modern decor that was very upscale, and the rooms were spacious for a boutique hotel in San Francisco. The location was great and the staff was more than helpful with suggestions and tips fit the city.

Positives: Modern decor, friendly staff, and great location.

Negatives: Old hotel so it had thin walls.

I wouldn't choose to stay at the Diva again if given the choice. The room that we had was not as nice or as comfortable as other Boutique Hotels that we have stayed in the area. It had no mini bar or snacks in the room like the other Boutiques have. The location was great however; and it had a Starbucks and a Mexican Restaurant right downstairs, both right off of the lobby, which was great. The staff was also great, very friendly and helpful.

Positives: The location was great and the staffs were very friendly. Also like that Starbucks and Mexican Restaurant were right down stairs.

Negatives: Not a very well appointed, attractive compared to other Boutique Hotels in the area.

Poor value. It was not a pleasant experience as the rooms were tired and not set up to meet anyone's needs other than its own.

Positives: Nothing really.

Negatives: Lacked personal touch. Nothing to recommend.

Great location, great staff, great access to coffee whenever you need it. The rooms are small, but provides what's necessary.

Positives: The staff was very friendly and helpful, having a Starbucks downstairs was great!

Negatives: The position of the TV in my room drove me nuts. I had to turn sideways to watch!

So many positives negated by a misdirected decorating budget. Unless one likes stark melted mechanical stainless steel accessories.

Positives: Great location and clean.

Negatives: Decor had very high creepy factor, sue interior decorator.

This hotel is everything I expected of a hotel when on vacation in a big city like San Francisco. Aside from being located above a noisy alley way at night time, the hotel met our needs for sleeping comfortably once we noticed our windows were not fully shut. The Hotel Diva really was point on with service and quality.

Positives: Two qualities of this hotel which stood out the most were the location and the decor.

Negatives: The room could have been a little more quiet during the night. Our room was located above the rear of the building's alley way.

Our room faced the street and was very noisy with garbage truck clanging and banging at 4:30 - 5:00 AM. Noisy from EMS (police, fire) throughout the night.

Positives: Nice location.

Negatives: Price for parking at $35.00 per night + tax and very noisy.

The hotel itself was great. My main complaint was that there was a lot of traffic noise through out the night because it's Downtown. Overall the staff was fantastic, and the hotel very convenient located to everything. It is also a fantastic price for what you get. However, I wish they would have served a small breakfast.

Positives: The concierge staff was extremely helpful.

Negatives: Did not provide a continental breakfast.
