While the first room I got was a little dirty, I asked to front desk to send up housecleaning while I was out but he would have none of that and gave me a new room immediately and bumped me up to the top floor with a great view of the ball bark and bay. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the lobby was a great place to sit and relax while waiting for friends.

Positives: Front desk very helpful.

Negatives: First room was a little dirty.

Very courteous young man checked us in - we were a group with 3 rooms. Valet and lobby staff very helpful. Nice, quiet room on the 14th floor. Free San Francisco Chronicle each morning. I'd definitely stay at the Intercontinental SF again.

Positives: New, modern hotel; very good location; nice room; quiet at night; good Priceline rate.

Negatives: $60 overnight parking charge a bit high even by San Francisco standards.

Good location, clean, modern rooms, nice views although you will probably need to pay extra for bay view. Rooms are extremely small--would've been tight for two persons.

Positives: Modern, good location, clean rooms, nice bathrooms.

Negatives: Rooms are rather small.

It was weekend getaway for me and my 20 years old daughter, and we both were pleased. Good SPA, just you have to make reservation in advance. We ordered room service breakfast - good food and nice presentation. Pool a little small, but with the salt water. Ask about club dial, for $40 you get all day food and drinks.

Positives: Great rooms, great location, a little expensive, but great food, and great service.

Negatives: Parking expensive, so I parked my car overnight in a different place for $10.

A very modern hotel. Everything just seems new and clean. Love the fact that it offers updated technology, even ipod/iphone charging on the alarm clock.

Positives: Modernness.

Negatives: Location.

Don't bring a car to this place if you are a value traveler. $60 per day for parking. If you have no car, then I'd consider this a nice place to stay.

Positives: Clean, but still not over the parking expense.

Negatives: Parking price!

While the hotel was clean, modern, and spacious I have a hard time seeing a 4 star hotel out of this. This is more like a 3 or 3.5 star as too many things that come complimentary in 4 or 5 star hotels require spending here. The location is very convenient to freeways and public transportation.

Positives: Comfortable, clean, and modern.

Negatives: You have to pay for everything, not exactly 4 star.

Very clean and friendly. We asked for and received a room facing Giants ball park because we knew there were fire works that night.

Positives: Walking distance from ball park and nice view.

Negatives: Parking was charged for two nights!

Although the hotel and the staff were exceptional, I would not recommend the hotel for the leisure traveler. The hotel takes advantage of the business traveler on expense accounts. There is a $60/day charge for parking, $14.95/day for internet service, or a fee for computer services in the Business Center, and a charge for anything they can think to charge for. The parking meters outside are $3/hour, and only accept up to 1 hour at a time. The location is not convenient for sightseeing, i.e. leisure traveler.

Positives: The reception staff went above and beyond.

Negatives: Focus is on business traveler with expense accounts. There is a charge for everything. Parking is outrageous!

Overall nice stay. Did not like the additional $60.00 fee for parking. Other parking option was a block away and $32.00 per 24 hours.

Positives: Comfortable bed, nice bathroom.

Negatives: Window view, not great.

Great hotel overall.

Positives: Comfortable room.

Negatives: Had to keep asking for regular complementary coffee on the room instead of decaf.

Overall my experience at the hotel was good but it was not as good as it should have been. Mainly the problem was that the bathroom was not clean. Nothing more important in a hotel than comfort and cleanliness everything else is secondary.

Positives: Got an inexpensive rate, iPod docking station, quiet, comfortable bed.

Negatives: Bathroom wasn't impeccably clean, that's a significant problem in my opinion.

The hotel was very nice looking. Parking was convenient if you want to pay $54 a day or parking two blocks away hourly or $36 for the day. The room service food took about 45 minutes to an hour each time I ordered, and was rather bland for $23 + a plate. The bed was nice and the bathroom was big with a large shower. The management was courteous as well as the head of security. There was one security team member who was very rude. My wife and I had just returned from the musical "Wicked", and we both noticed our room smelled of smoke. On the eighth floor where we were with no windows and smoking not being allowed this was odd. We called to see if someone could vent the room, spray something, and check to see where it came from. One of the security team came up, and without even coming in our room or checking with us, made a call to say we were lying, and trying to get a discount. This was just one man, not the whole team and the situation was handled professionally from the management. But, because, of the false information from that one man, two rooms were overlooked, and later those same rooms were evicted of all occupants. The police arrived at about 3:45 am for illegal activity, and fighting in the hotel which woke more than just a few rooms. The management was very accommodating concerning the disturbance. This was more than likely a one time thing, but the chances of me returning are slim.

Positives: Very clean, looked nice, when we had an issue management seemed to care.

Negatives: One of the security team members was extremely rude and offensive to both my wife and myself.

Lovely lobby, somewhat out of the way location.Hotel looking for every way to milk money out of guests, eg., lack of free WIFI, lack of amenities.

Positives: Great concierge.

Negatives: Lack of free amenities lack of free WIFI.

The hotel has a very nice fitness room and a pool. I will not stay in this hotel again, but I'm glad that I tried it out. There are more elegant options in SF.

Positives: Very comfortable bed.

Negatives: Unfriendly staff.

Beautiful place to stay, central to everything as long as you are driving. Modern, sleek and<BR/>comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Positives: Sleekness of design, comfort of beds and room in general.

Negatives: Only a shower in bathroom, no tub.

The staff was courteous. There could have been more staff at the check in/out counter; I had to wait a good while to check out. Since our trip was part business, we were hoping to unwind at the hotel after, but we didn't even have a bathtub and the hot tub/pool was closed, which was very disappointing. The room was very nice, though a bit small.

Positives: New, clean and

Negatives: The room was small, no bathtub and the pool closed really early.

I was very pleased to stay in this elegant hotel and eat in the beautiful dining room in this hotel. The people were friendly and the chef was very courteous to speak to me about my meal. Great experience!

Positives: The chef came to ask me how my meal was. I felt that courtesy was honorable.

Negatives: Nothing.
