The Del Sol is a former 1950s Motor Lodge that is now remodeled after a California beach house. Upon entering the hotel you will find yourself in our painted courtyard with a heated pool grassy area and swaying palm trees complete with comfortable hammocks. The hotels decor is very bright and sunny with tile mosaics and sun murals.
Our bright and airy rooms come in all shapes and sizes so you can pick the room perfect for you. A complimentary continental breakfast is offered daily-poolside pending weather and we also offer a complimentary milk and cookie service served in the afternoons.
We are pet friendly and green certified. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel.

The Hotel Del Sol was nicely situated close to the waterfront, and really quiet at night. Breakfast was good - help yourself and take it back to your room or outside if the weather is fine. Staff were friendly. Rooms were bright, cheerful and clean.
Positives: Quiet, handy to the waterfront, on bus line, clean and bright happy rooms, nice breakfast.
Negatives: Beds were small/hard.

Very cute hotel, many amenities, friendly staff - good place for traveling with pets.
Positives: Made it easy to park, use internet, keep my dog.
Negatives: Could hear the upstairs room through the ceiling.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again and it was reasonable and a had a comfortable bed to sleep on.
Positives: The look of the hotel was nice and the room was clean.
Negatives: The electricity went out a few times.

This is a fun, hassle-free place to stay for families and couples. We stayed over a Saturday night and although every room in the hotel was filled with cool international and American travelers with and without kids, the quiet hours were totally quiet and we got a great night's sleep. Our trip included the Golden Gate Park children's Playground, Fisherman's Wharf, and the Bay Area Discovery Museum and the hotel was perfectly situated for everything. We'll definitely recommend to family and friends.
