When I first entered the suite on my recent stay, it felt old, outdated, and stale. I noticed a slight odor, but attributed it to someone cooking in another suite. By the next day, the scent had matured to an awful stench. I was honestly afraid to look under the bed, for fear of finding a corpse that's how bad the smell was. <BR> I called the front desk and they said the maintenance tech would be up shortly. In the meantime, I tracked the scent down to the garbage disposal within my room. Not having any real cleaning supplies, I flushed the sink drain with hot water and shampoo while running the disposal. When the mint tech arrived, he commented that I could go buy some bleach or a lemon to put down the drain. I hardly feel that was my responsibility as a guest. He then hooked up a small machine on my counter that was supposed to remove the smell. It was awfully noisy and I had to unplug it just to be able to sleep. I was so dissatisfied, I checked out the next day and canceled the remaining 9 nights of my reservation. I have always liked the Marriott, but after this experience I will be rarely about staying in any of their hotel branches again.

This hotel offers studio like apartment rooms which are stocked with a kitchen and kitchen supplies. This was great. Like a little home away from home. Very clean, bright, comfortable. The morning breakfasts was a big morning time saver. Very well kept property. Morning papers, computer stations, in room internet access, all great perks. Would stay there again.
Positives: Loved the staff, decor, and room comfort.

We were very comfortable in this hotel. The "studio" suite we had was plenty roomy for my husband and me. We particularly enjoyed having a free breakfast. The hotel had a great selection of foods. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
Positives: Short drive to beach/free breakfast/large rooms/suites.
Negatives: Nothing.

Great place, if only it had either 2 beds, or 1 king size.
Positives: Clean, excellent complimentary breakfast.
Negatives: Only 1 queen size bed -- not couple friendly!
