Convenient, comfortable, spacious lobby area. Loved having Starbucks availability in gift shop! All staff attentive and expedient--front desk, house services and dining area.

Positives: Cleanliness & front desk expediency.

Negatives: Cannot think of anything.

Very so-Cal beach feel, clean, pretty inside and out. We had a wonderful experience.

Positives: It was clean, convenient and a great value.

Negatives: Gift shop with Starbucks closed early.

Hotel was really clean with friendly staff. Location was slightly off the freeway reducing the noise level and offset on a golf course. Room was clean with comfortable bed and multiple down pillows, but slightly small with two queen beds.

Positives: Facility was clean with spacious lobby and beautiful decor.

Negatives: Room was clean and pleasant but alittle on the small side.

I was staying at this place for what was supposed to be a relaxed weekend of wine tasting and taking it easy in the wine country.

Positives: It's in California.

Negatives: Bad service. Bad location. Bad deal. Unfriendly Staff. Did I mention bad service?

We stayed here four nights in April 2010. The staff was wonderful, the facilities were clean and in good working order. The hotel could not have been better.

Positives: Very clean, very quite, and beautifully appointed.

Negatives: Not much to do in the immediate area.

We always enjoyed staying at the Doubletree in Rohnert Park. The staff is helpful, the location just outside of Santa Rosa and close to Sonoma and Napa make it a perfect place for a three-day getaway.

Positives: Wonderful location, helpful friendly staff and clean nicely appointed rooms.

Negatives: Hotel restaurant was not as good as the last time.

The hotel is in a nice quiet location. It has a beautiful lobby and many nice areas to sit. Our room was okay, however, the television was having problems and the desk clerk never followed through in having it repaired.

Positives: I liked the quiet location of the hotel.

Negatives: I did not like the noisy hallway outside our door.

Would I stay there again--sure--would I rush there no..good hotel for visiting Sonoma Vineyards..not too far to get to Armstrong Redwood Park or Korbel or Hartford Family Wineries..many wineries close by.

Positives: Once inside hotel the setting was nice.

Negatives: Located in busy industrial area--lots of construction going on.

This was originally a Red Lion, bought by Doubletree. Apparently, business isn't good. The elevator buttons worked intermittantly. I had to push the button several times to get it to assign a floor. The door handle to my room only worked if you lifted up. If you pushed down, it didn't work. The carpet had stains, paint was worn and showing age. Stains on the walls, etc. The air conditioner in the room didn't work well. No matter what temperature I set the thermostat, it seemed to have a mind of its own. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. It is attractive when you drive up, but the neglect to the property is obvious. I get the feeling it is owned by a company that is either out of money, or doesn't want to spend anything keeping it up.

Positives: It was close to the golf course

Negatives: lots of deferred maintenance

Hotel larger than imagined . Nice lobby and pool. Great 1/2 lb. hamburgers and good breakfasts.

Positives: Waitress made a late lunch for us even though the dining room was closed.

Negatives: The hotel's layout was way confusing. Elevators located on backside of building . Long walk around to room.

Great hotel along Highway 101, very close to beautiful towns and wine country.

Positives: The location and atmosphere was great.

Negatives: Nothing I didn't like.

The room I was in had a cracked up toilet seat, and when I asked for another soap and lotion for my son, she hesitated and said just one!

Positives: I

Negatives: I

I would definitely stay here again if my business took me to this area. They give you a warm chocolate chip cookie at check in and the staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel is probably the most upscale establishment in the immediate vicinity and is a little further away from the freeway that the motor lodge motel style accommodations nearby.

Positives: The hotel exceeded my expectations and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Negatives: There was no way to get a coffee between 11 and 2 pm - gift shop and Starbucks were closed.

Good place to stay, next to a golf course, nice pool and the rooms were very nice. The TV was not high def and there is a charge for internet use.

Positives: Rooms were very nice.

Negatives: It is very hard to find.

Overall we were very pleased with the hotel. The room and lobby were spacious and new in appearance. The grounds were very well kept up in grooming. But most of all were the delicious cookies given from the desk upon check in.

Positives: Hotel was extremely helpful and courteous.

Negatives: Pool was too cold and could have been cleaner.

The Double tree is a nice hotel with friendly staff, a cozy lobby, and a great swimming pool area. Overall it is a good value, although the interior of the hotel rooms could use some updating.

Positives: The lobby and pool area are very nice, and the staff was very helpful.

Negatives: The rooms were dated
